Puppers Policetti We had a satisfactory experience here at Egglectic Cafe quite recently. We wanted to do a brunch somewhere in the neighborhood for our Mas birthday, so we called ahead and made a 10am reservation during the week. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and were seated immediately. The interior was clean and cozy, and the place was lively but not jam-packed. Our server was eggcellent. She was an absolute gem and a rockstar. Served us our drinks right off the bat, brought us out some delicious flavored croissants, and took our orders, which came out in practically no time. The food was fantastic! Had some chilequilles, corned beef hash, pancakes, fries & chicken tenders for our little ones, and a couple of breakfast skillets. All were hot, ready, and delicious upon arrival and tasted country farm fresh. Overall, we had a pretty good experience. The service was fast and friendly, the food was marvelous, and the dining area was neat and tidy. Will definitely be stopping by again. Thanks for the great time for my Mas birthday. Cheers!

Jeff Kagay We just celebrated our 12 yr anniversary at the Blackhawk steak pit. Heard some nice things about this place and I read the reviews, some great some not so great. As for me and my wife we loved it! The service was great even while being pretty busy. Salad bar very nice and our dinner was awesome. I had the porterhouse steak just as I wanted it. Wife had the kabobs. No complaints, everything was really good. And for dessert raspberry cheesecake perfect. So 5 stars from me great job, well be back!

CW I love Monicals Pizza. A must eat there everytime we are in Watseka place. I wish it was in Kansas where we live.

Molly Ann Nice place...though kind of bizarre, the pizza/Mexican fare in the same place. I can attest to the great pizza! Great onion rings and good salsa. Service was good with a genuine smile and seating was quick. Dear fellows, do not bring a 1st, 2nd or 3rd date here. The interior decor and uncomfortable chairs will not impress.

Jason McGuire If you ever find yourself in Illinois Amish Country (or within a couple hours), you have to go to Yoders Kitchen in Arthur, IL. There are too many things to choose from so go for the buffet. Every night there are different items (menu is online) but I waited until tonight so I could get all of my favorite comfort foods: broasted chicken, chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans (all of those are on the buffet every day for lunch and dinner) plus pot roast, turkey and dressing, and spaghetti. They also have a huge salad bar, a couple different soups, and a few different cobblers and treats for dessert. There are fresh baked pies also but those are an extra charge. Everything is made from scratch and definitely tastes like eating a Sunday dinner at Grandmas. Everything was delicious; there wasnt a single item I didnt like.

Dravencrow0 Service was wonderful, and our server Autumn was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend had the endless soup, salad and bread sticks while I had the 6oz sirloin steak with Fettuccine Alfredo. The wait time was as expected on a holiday like Valentines day. Delicious food, will definitely eat here again.
