5 /5 Crystal W: This black owned business run by JD is a one man show and I respect his hustle so much, I’ll be stopping by every time I come through Joliet. I had the turkey tips, catfish and Mac n cheese…all of it was a hit. I’ve never seen turkey tips on a menu, chefs kiss. JD was friendly, pleasant and even gave me a sample of food while I waited. The food is cooked fresh so my only suggestion is to order in advance to avoid the wait.

5 /5 Lo Lo: The rib tips were so tender, they were falling off the bone. The chicken and the fish were crispy and well-seasoned. The barbecue sauce was super flavorful. My family loved it. Well be returning soon.

The flavor was rich without being overwhelming, and the meat stayed juicy from the first bite to the last. You can tell a lot of care goes into how they prepare their food. The customer service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Everything felt well-organized, and my order was handled quickly without feeling rushed. I’ll definitely be back for the turkey tips they’re a must-try.
