Bunny Me and my cousin fell into this restaurant as we were in the Joliet area and we needed to eat. Google can pull up some good finds. The pictures of the catfish drew us in. So glad we stopped in. Beautiful atmosphere, not a large spot but large enough. We immediately noticed the deck of cards on each table, and the stack of board games on the counter. Nice to get a game of spades or Uno in while you wait for your food. Now to the food, my cousin ordered her fish fried, I got the blackened fish. They didnt disappoint. Well seasoned, and the correct portion. I got the sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes. Had I known the blackened fish came with rice, I would have not gotten the potatoes. My cousin got greenbeans and mashed potatoes. Sent the greenbeans back and got cabbage, unfortunately they were cooked too soft, but that cabbage was nice. Everything well seasoned. I live in the city but would definitely stop back by the next time Im in the Joliet area.

Ryan Hill Wow what a fantastic find! This place surprised me and my family with outstanding service and great food. It’s not much to look at on the outside, but don’t let that deceive you. The people are awesome inside and the food is delicious! 5 star experience!

Derrek Line I got the Double cheese, because they were smash burgers, but made with locally grown beef. 10/10. Chicken salad for my daughter came with a hefty portion. 10/10. The only thing we would change is the cheeseburger wrap uses a sweet relish and didnt mesh well for us. A dill relish or just chopped pickles would have made it perfect. 6/10. The help was very polite and I will come back and recommended to friends. Uploading menu in house as prices have dropped.

Sharon Jackson Food was excellent with the exception being plain udon my 16 yo ordered. It just wasn’t his taste. I had the pork curry. It was tasty but I was expecting some heat. I’m glad it wasn’t spicy but don’t expect it to be hot. My husband had the black garlic ramen and said he would definitely have it again. My other son had the Shoyu and loved it. Our waiter was fantastic and we would definitely go back again.

Heather McLaren Rita’s is an amazing spot with a cozy, welcoming vibe and delicious food. We ordered the burgers and wings — both were outstanding! The wings were incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare, just how we like it. The service was warm and friendly from start to finish, and we couldn’t get enough of the adorable duck-themed decor — such a charming touch! Can’t wait to come back.
