Waterleaf Restaurant - (Near Glen Ellyn, IL)

Katie OBrien Most under-rated restaurant in Geneva. Right by the train station with plenty of parking behind and a beautiful open layout. Modern, warm decor perfect for a work lunch or date night. I was there for a work lunch and our waiter was charming and had great timing. We were able to chat without interruption. The food came quickly and was fresh and delicious. Big portions and great prices, lingering around $20. I ordered the crab cake appetizer. It was served with a side salad and was the perfect size. My guests had sandwiches with side salad. Again, so good, so generously portioned. I genuinely can’t wait to go back to try their bruschetta varieties (they had like 6 versions!) and other things on the menu. If I HAD to say something needed improvement it would be that the menu was very big and a bit overwhelming. It would be great if they held some things back and rotated them seasonally. Looking forward to coming back at night with some friends. Came back last weekend. This time for dinner with my niece and son. Another fantastic meal. Bruschetta was out of this world. Octopus was good but was full size, not mini like it says on the menu. Not a big deal still very good.

Lori K This was our first time here. Formerly Wagon Wheel now Primos. They had ayc eat cod fish (didnt know) and it was very good. The salad bar was average but fresh. The server was very pleasant. This would be a great place for a large gathering. We will be going again.

Cara Isaacs Hubby said the house margaritas was the best one he’s had in a while! Loved how the salsa came with warm chips when we sat down. The salmon chipotle was crispy and delicious and my husband liked his La bamba burrito. All very good! We had an issue with my salmon originally and they took care of it and took care of us as well. Overall good experience. Be sure to dress warm if you’re dining during the winter. I was very cold during my whole dinner- not a lot of heat in the restaurant.

Jo Buddy The staff here are amazing people. Super polite kind helpful friendly they contribute to a great atmosphere and make this place the absolute best! Food was amazing as always. But the staff were kind and on top of it. I drank three mango iced teas in record time and the refills never stopped coming even as fast as i was downing them they were coming back with refills. Loved it its clean and fast with great staff. Have to have the fajitas with all three proteins its the best!

Caitlyn Ibarra We were in Paris from ohio and made it just on time for opening. The lord blessed the hands of those cooks because everything was absolutely AMAZING. Me and my husband split the family combo. We were FLOORED by the ribs, we both agreed it was the best we have ever had and we are BBQ fanatics. Fries, 10☆ cheese curds 10☆ ribs 10☆ and staff 10☆ thanks yall for being so friendly, patient, and hospitable! Made or 3+ hours Worthwhile
