BBQ Pit - (Near Monroe, LA)

Tammy TJ Ribs is still dishing out the heat! I ordered the barbecue shrimp and barbecue chicken, and both entrées were absolutely delicious. The shrimp came as eight jumbo Gulf shrimp sautéed in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce, served over creamy mashed potatoes with garlic bread on the side — a perfect balance of flavor and comfort. The chicken entrée was a leg quarter servedwith potato salad, baked beans, garlic, and toast. It was hearty, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Each entrée also came with the option of a garden salad, house salad, or a baked potato with butter and sour cream, which made the meal feel complete. For dessert, I tried the bread pudding. While I appreciated the effort, I didn’t care for the chocolate morsels mixed in — it wasn’t quite my style. That said, the main dishes more than made up for it, and I left satisfied and impressed.

Toretto Johnson The food was wonderful. After months me & my cousins choose to meet here to eat. Mae was a very good and helpful server. The dragonfruit and watermelon lemonade was just right. We a few refills because how good it was. We order the rack combos. We all had different stuff but the jalapeños cheddar sausage was very good and you definitely have to try there white cheddar mac and cheese. The honey chipotle chicken,brisket,fries whoa. We will having our meetings at this location because of the service, no wait,friendly service.

Timothy Buckley Outlaws BBQ always hits the spot. The food’s always good, no matter what time you go, and the service is just as solid. They’re always friendly and quick, and everything comes out hot and full of flavor. You really can’t go wrong eating here, they stay consistent every time.

Malinda Butler We were greeted and seated in little to no time around 4:30-5:00 on a weekend. I ordered stuffed catfished and onion rings, and both were phenomenal! Our waitress was the best— very attentive to our needs, friendly, and knowledgeable! We were very pleased with our experience! Atmosphere was great— dress up or come in shorts or blue jeans! They also have pick up and delivery for locals, plus fresh and frozen food to reheat or cook at home- great entrees and desserts!

Briana My sister and I visited Melvyns and decided to eat there. They have very delicious chicken strips and warm soft fries. You can also get brown gravy with your fries and chicken strips. It was cozy in there with nice dim lights. The honey mustard was fresh and good. The lemonade and coke drink was fresh and good as well. I recommend trying this place.
