TJ Ribs - Baton Rouge
Tammy TJ Ribs is still dishing out the heat! I ordered the barbecue shrimp and barbecue chicken, and both entrées were absolutely delicious. The shrimp came as eight jumbo Gulf shrimp sautéed in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce, served over creamy mashed potatoes with garlic bread on the side — a perfect balance of flavor and comfort.
The chicken entrée was a leg quarter servedwith potato salad, baked beans, garlic, and toast. It was hearty, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
Each entrée also came with the option of a garden salad, house salad, or a baked potato with butter and sour cream, which made the meal feel complete.
For dessert, I tried the bread pudding. While I appreciated the effort, I didn’t care for the chocolate morsels mixed in — it wasn’t quite my style. That said, the main dishes more than made up for it, and I left satisfied and impressed.
