Ive B The Chimes is hands down one of the best spots in Louisiana for good food and good vibes. The place has that rustic, laid-back feel that makes you instantly comfortable, and it’s super family-friendly, which I love. The food is amazing. The charbroiled oysters are a must have every time I visit. The gator is tender and so tasty. The catfish is always fresh and perfectly cooked, and the gumbo is rich and comforting, just like it should be. Don’t skip the boudin balls, and if crab fingers are in season, get them — you won’t regret it. What makes The Chimes really special is the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you can bring your kids, meet up with friends, or just relax and enjoy a meal that feels like home. Big portions, friendly staff, and food that keeps you coming back — it’s a true gem in the South.

Heinous Hyrax This place is wonderful. Our waiter, Zack, was very attentive and kind. Same with the greeters being friendly and welcoming. The food is just as great as the service!

Matteo Pasquali We almost did not come because of a bad review written about a year ago. That review was not accurate. Service was fast and friendly. Food was very good with a wide variety of options. Simple, tidy restaurant decor.

Kat Sykes This was a good choice for a meal. Hubby had oysters and I stuck with a burger because Im not adventurous! Oysters were very good and the burger was outstanding. We also had the bread pudding which was also top notch. Fairly busy but with just 2 we got seated immediately. Good service in a very busy, noisy place!

Lehua Okalani Pat’s of Henderson. I’ve been a fan since I was a girl. NOLA born but living out of state. Mama brought me home to Louisiana. I was amazed. I still am. THIS Pat’s brings a bit of New Orleans glamor to SW Louisiana. And the food hasn’t changed a bit. It’s still old South Louisiana school delicious. Something for everyone seafood, salads, chicken, steaks. Wine and drinks list is extensive and very well thought out. The service is stellar. James took care of me tonight, the most attentive service I’ve had in a long time. If you’re in Lake Charles check them out. You’ll be glad you did. I promise. And ask for an off the menu, root beer float. You’ll get it. With a smile.

T D Dined here for the first time. Service was excellent! Great appetizers with the cauliflower bites, truffle fries, and phenomenal crab cakes. My entree was the burger. Ive had many excellent burgers and this ranks among the best. Friends raved about the tuna tacos, and red fish dish. Only recommendation is to see a standing gumbo dish on the menu. We are from out of town, but plan to return anytime we are back in Thibodaux.
