Adam & Lana - The Crains A Wonderful Central LA Find! This wasnt our first choice, but we are so glad we found Mamas Oyster House! Atmosphere & Service: Great central Louisiana local vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Starters: Tried the grilled gator bites, raw oysters, and mini meat pies. All were delicious and high-quality. Highlights: We sampled the BBQ oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and Catfish Acadiana. Every dish was excellent. MUST-TRY: The Seafood Gumbo was absolutely amazing and the highlight of the meal. Highly recommend! Well be back soon.

PHO EVER - Leesville

Deidra Velasquez Wow, this is some amazing and fresh food. I had the shrimp Pho, veggie egg rolls, spring rolls with amazing peanut butter sauce, and passion fruit Boba tea. My husband and kids took a trip to my mil in Baton Rouge so I was able to enjoy every bit of my food. The sprouts, lime and I think that was mint leaf is a awesome combo to add to your Pho along with scallions and onion. Im going back next week !!! It was like 1 other person in there. That place should been packed!!!

New Orleans Style Seafood Restaurant & Market - Covington

Shelby Lay Everything about this place is amazing! From the eye catching building to the restroom that is decorated nicely with a wonderful smell! The staff are super sweet and actually waited on us to order(no pun intended lol), making sure I understood what I was buying. When you walk into the restaurant you see all of these plates that they have made just so the customers know what they’re ordering! Now for the whole reason you clicked on my review. The food was amazing to say the least!! The spinach artichoke dip was delightful. The chips were fresh and slightly sprinkled with a nice bayou seasoning. The Meal box (I believe that’s what it’s called) came with a pound of crawfish, corn and potatoes. I got mine with extra spice. The crawfish was cooked good with a great flavor. The main boil I got was made with essentially a crack sauce!! The flavors danced around in my mouth. The only words I can use to describe it as is “Jesus’s Last Super”! The snow crab was cooked perfectly! Literally melted in my mouth!! I’m not even exaggerating I’d literally sell my brother for another pound! We also had the Redfish with crawfish sauce (it has a specific name but I’m literally in a food coma as I am writing this) over pasta. The red fish was perfectly cooked where it melted in my mouth. It was definitely my favorite. I will definitely be returning in the near future. If only they had a restaurant in Texas! I am not exaggerating when I say this is a MUST STOP on the list while traveling through Louisiana!!

Mercy Kitchen - Lafayette

Curtis LeBlanc Recently visited Mercy Kitchen for the first time and loved it. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I ordered The Hangover, which was hearty, flavorful, and surprisingly light — left me full without feeling bloated or sluggish afterward. Highly recommend checking this place out!
