Janes Seafood & Chinese Restaurant - (Near New Iberia, LA)

5 /5 Kri (Klmbean): Mu first time coming here. Very popular place. We arrived right when they opened. Service was prompt and all staff friendly. The egg drop soup was very good as well as the boiled crabs. I look forward to trying more items in the future. Prices were reasonable too.

4 /5 Gavin Desormeaux: This place is our go to when it comes to the ONLY place I trust with dusting their boiled seafood. That being said, it is an awesome place for seafood, sadly though, the Chinese is good, but not 5 star good. I love getting the Janes shrimp appetizer, and the onion mum is not too far behind. Good beer selection, and overall soft drinks are always fresh here. The downside is sometimes the wait, but if you use Yelp, you can check in ahead of time while youre on the way there. Tuesdays are the best time to come, since they run specials on boiled seafood. I do know you can get alot when it comes to the fried rice and/or noodles, just never strayed away from the boiled seafood. The cajun dishes are great aswell, so dont be afraid to try this place out and see why it has the good reputation it has!

5 /5 Ryan Jarnecke: Today is my 36th birthday and Im absolutely obsessed with hot sauce so my girlfriend and I decided to drive from Destin Florida to visit the Tabasco farm! We got into town a little late so unfortunately we missed the factory tour, so obviously we had to find somewhere to eat! It seems to be a bit difficult finding a local place that offers cocktails AND food, but luckily for us, we came across Janes! Specifically, we were looking for some good boiled shrimp while enjoying some bloody Marys and we hit the jackpot! Our bartender Karlie was quick to get us food menus and our drinks followed just as fast! Our shrimp boil was the best Ive ever had and the Chargrill dipping butter was to die for! Yall go see Karlie at Janes for delicious food and friendly conversation!

5 /5 Desiree Bodin Banegas: Everything my table had was excellent. Chargrilled oysters, bisque, fried oysters, onion mum, fried shrimp with Jane sauce, fettuccine... you get the point. The server was attentive. Gave four stars for atmosphere only because it is loud. Great place to eat and have fun, but definitely not for having a conversation.
