Merci Beaucoup Restaurant - (Near Natchitoches, LA)

Court Cronin Big Mike’s is the place to get BBQ in South Louisiana. Atmosphere was great when you walk in. It was our first time there and everyone was so friendly. You order at a counter and then the food is delivered to your table. The staff were very helpful when asking about items on the menu. I had the 1/2 rack ribs with mac’n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. They ribs were tender with tons of flavor. They had the right about of sauce on them for me with a couple great sauces at the table to use. The mac’n cheese and mashed potatoes were amazing. My friend had a brisket sandwich that he really enjoyed. There is a nice bar and plenty of seating inside. There is also a large patio as well. Great place, great food and great service. Anthony Sanchez Brocatos is in a nice location with pretty easy access. Parking can be an issue depending on peak serving times. The atmosphere is comfortable, very cafeteria-like. The menu is quite large, and family service with a smile seems to be a good theme. The food has always been fresh when I visited. The repeat customers seem to be very satisfied. its always good to support local family-owned restaurants, which seem to be crowded out by "chain" restaurants lately. Recommended.

Nathalie Alarcon Yes I highly recommend this place for “Pozole.” Thank you so much for this amazing soup helps when feeling unwell or under the weather, during fall, and it’s seasoned just right. I am truly amazed I will be making the drive from Mid City to try other entrees. The pictures don’t do its justice of fantastic flavors.

Gina Delaney My husband and I were on a date night and were craving Italian food. We looked at our options locally and neither of us were familiar with La Contea Italiano Ristorante but the menu looked great, we were hungry and there were wait time at that moment. La Contea Italiano Ristorante far exceeded our expectations! The food and cocktails were amazing, lovely atmosphere, and service was impeccable! There was a guy singing live Rat Pack tunes who was great and added to the atmosphere. We cant say enough good things about our experience! This will likely be our future anniversary or special occasions place!

Brandon Man, we love the atmosphere! The servers were awesome (Sky, you’re killin’ it, lady!), and of course that famous quesadilla burger was off the chain! Hey Shane, the people want a food challenge! Literally can’t wait to revisit.
