1 /5 Rich: I have eaten here countless times and never have I had bad food, or bad service. Tonight was unbelievably bad. I am completely baffled how it could happen. First, though the place was near empty, the hostess wanted to insist sitting us at a high table. I hate highb tables, so she had to ask the manager if she could put 2 tables together for our party of six, which he obliged. The waitress to our drink order and then went to get them. Two of the ladies with us ordered Margaritas. When our drinks came out, all of cups with soft drinks arrived looking as though the salted the rims of all of our drinks. See pictures included. Next was probably the worse part, but you be the decider.
So, we start to order and its like throwing darts as the poor waitress. Everything we ordered were all the things they ran out of. I thought at first that it was that they didnt want to honor corporates special, but none the things we ordered that werent specials were available either. It got to be freaking hilarious, but not to one of the servers or the hostess because they were just embarrassed by it and angry that those were the things we just happened to order. IT IS NEVER / NEVER a customers fault if the restaurant has not ordered properly. They didnt have at least half of the menu. In my opinion, they probably should have not opened, instead.
The only things that even taste good were the appetizers. Some of our burgers werent bad, even a l Iittle flavorful, sort of, but over cooked and so dry you wouldnt believe how dry without pics. Unless you ordered it well done, like one of the couples with us always do. Theor burgers were the only orders that were undercooked, but it didnt stop there for them. Half of the ingredients on ones burger was missing, but she wasnt about to tell the waitress because we had all waited near an hour for the food and we were very hungry. The others, who ordered their burgers well done with no onions, no tomato, extra mayo. Those burgers arrived pink to almost red in the very center. Everyones burger was so cold that it couldnt even melt the cheese. So dry that the meat and the mushrooms, that werent even supposed to be on it, or anyones for that matter, looked the same, dry& leather-ish. The chilli was cold, but everyone who n ordered it chose to not eat it, or bring it home and heat it up. The table that sat behind were seated probably about 10 minutes after our order was given to the kitchen, but they got their food just before we did. There were so many things that went wrong and I just skipped a lot of them. If it wasnt for the fact that the six of us dont see each other that often because of the distance between, which is what led us to Mug Shots, because we were looking for something midway between us. Seeing each other and spending time together was great. Unfortunately, the food and our service, well, it was bad enough that we wont be back.
