1 /5 jaque chardonnay: Title: $150 for RAW Chicken and Burnt Food – Unacceptable Safety Standards
I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Pedro’s on Airline today. I ordered the $50 Mezquite Grill and a Sampler Platter. What was served was not just poor quality—it was dangerous.
The chicken wing in the Sampler was completely raw and pink inside. This is a major food safety violation. Additionally, the steak on the Mezquite Grill was severely overcooked, charred black, and as tough as a brick.
When I showed the staff the raw chicken and inedible steak, they offered a 25% discount. However, because the rest of the meal and drinks were included, our final bill was still $150. Paying $150 to be served raw poultry and carbonized meat is insulting. For someone who takes their health and diet seriously, I cannot trust a kitchen with such zero regard for safety or quality control. I will not be returning, and I will be reporting the raw chicken to the Bossier Parish Health Unit.
Suggested Strategy for the Management
If you are still there or plan to call them back, you can use this specific logic:
• "A 25% discount implies the food was just unsatisfactory. Raw chicken is a safety failure. I shouldnt be charged $150 for a meal where the primary proteins were unsafe to eat."
