Taza kabob & Grill - Bossier City

Rating: 4.9 /5
Harris Colton “Pokéchamp” Taza is owned by a Greek family who moved to America a bit ago. Its ran by a father, son, and nephew. The food is very authentic and perfectly priced. Not too expensive! Come here if you want a quick gyro or shawarma from a real Greek. The staff is very friendly and doesnt mind chatting. The gyro (not pictured) was balanced well between meat and vegetables and the fries were to die for! The Chicken Kabob Plate (pictured) was a delight. I was very impressed by the chicken itself! Now if only I had their marinade and seasoning recipe for myself... With these two, a water, and tax, the bill came out to be around $35.

Christopher Anthony Dine in for 3. The staff was very polite. The food was very good. Excellent service with a quick turnaround on the order on what looked like a busy night. Its very good food. Everyone at the table was very pleased with the food and the service.

Rotolos Pizzeria - Chalmette

Wolfbrother Hobbies This place is an amazing pizza joint! When I saw that they make a pizza based on one of my favorite sandwiches, the muffuletta, I had to order one immediately! With pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, and olive salad, they perfectly captured the flavors of that savory Louisiana sandwich. I was so impressed. The delicious pizza dough stood up well to the array of toppings. There was no sogginess or limpness to the dough at all. The dough had the perfect chew.

JACs Craft Smokehouse - West Monroe

Rating: 4.7 /5
Craig Hodge Nice dive! Brisket quesadilla was great! House chips were crispy and smoky. The spicy BBQ sauce has just the right amount of heat. The sweet BBQ sauce was a little too sweet for me. The chipotle sauce that came with the quesadilla was amazing. My wife ordered a spud with brisket. She would have preferred real butter and real cheese instead of what she was given. Great atmosphere. Great service. The outside patio was perfect for dining this time of year. Parking is limited but there is public parking across the street. They take precautions for those who have Celiac or are sensitive to Gluten. Super nice folks!

Mayeauxs Steak & Seafood Restaurant - Natchitoches

Rating: 4.3 /5
brice calzaretta One of my favorite parts of visiting my family in Natchitoches is the meat pies. The Mini meat pies here i would give a 9.3/10. The crust was nice and flaky and the meat was perfectly seasoned with just a little kick. I tried the sauce they come with but prefer them plain. My steak was cooked perfectly and tender all the way through with amazing buttery beef flavor. I did not have any room for dessert. Our waitress was attentive and checked in many times to make sure our drinks were filled and our food was correct.

Johnnys Pizza House - Bossier City

Rating: 4.2 /5
Lois Cooper I called to place a pick up order, just a small mighty meaty with a side of nacho cheese sauce, I let them know that I needed curbside service because I had a sleeping toddler in the car and I was told that was fine. That was awesome because I usually go to the Airline drive location because they have a window, but their wait time was an hour and this location said 20 minutes, also awesome. I called once I arrived and let them know that I was outside and I wanted to add a 2liter Diet Coke and a cup of ice to my order, also not a problem! The customer service was great, because it was a different employee each time I called and both were professional and had no problem accommodating me. I didn’t wait long and Maria brought my order out, that made my night because Maria and I have worked together before at a different restaurant and she’s such an amazingly sweet person and didn’t know that she had changed to this Johnnys location! That means I’m switching to this location too! I had a long day and needed my comfort food. I get all way home (North Shreveport), unload my sleeping grandson, then unload everything from the car, I get the baby tucked in, throw on my pajamas, fix myself a big glass of Diet Coke, then I get comfortable and I open my Johnny’s Pizza box only to find that they forgot my nacho cheese sauce! I really love that sauce, I almost cried! I could have called and complained, I could have left less than 5 stars, I could have left a bad review and blamed the employees, OR I could have been more responsible and checked my box before I left Johnny’s! I’m not MAD, I’m full. I have sat here and ate all but two pieces of this pizza (without nacho cheese sauce) and I didn’t even reheat it because it was cold by the time I got home! Still the best pizza!
