5 /5 James Lexing: We popped in on Friday for quick bite after a round of golf and wound with a whole meal plus some. The fried pork chop meal (w/rice & gravy and green beans) was my choice and it was definitely the right one. I got an extra pork chop and a couple of extra rolls and had more than I could eat. The food was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked so much so that I was finished eating before I could use the hot sauce I requested. I’d put those chops up against anybody’s! Thick, juicy, (again) perfectly seasoned and of course, cooked to order.
Truly a 10/10 experience.
My homeboy had the same meal as I did except with grilled chops plus he had a coke float!!
5 /5 Mandy Ritchie: Yall, it was so good! I had fried pork chop dinner, and my husband had the hamburger steak. I wish I would have taken a picture, but I pounced on that juicy chop as soon as it hit the table. Next I want to try the nachos and burgers. They also have these yummy drinks you can purchase in these cool bottles. Service with a smile too!
5 /5 Pamela Carter: These ladies truly want to #exciteyourtastebuds I have not ordered anything that was not great! This fish basket was hot, crunchy outside, flaky and juicy inside, and more than enough to share. Then I added my new fave, boudin balls with a side of gravy. 10/10
5 /5 Jeff Green: Visiting from Montana. Country fried steak was great! Five stars all the way across on everything. Loved the manager! Personable and fun. Wife and I enjoyed ourselves. A real bonus for Delhi.
5 /5 Shannon Hayes: Stopped at this little place on a road trip for a quick bite. It was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back when in the area. The food was phenomenal and the ladies inside were so sweet! Best homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, I ate every single bite.
bumbommbie We had an amazing time here at Ginas. Our food was delicious and fresh. For an appetizer we had onion rings and a cup of crab corn soup. The onion rings are really thin and crispy , which is so delicious! The cup of soup was a bit cheesy. For the meal I had a shrimp poboy and a piece of my moms catfish! ( How could I not ! Its fresh Louisiana catfish ) Absolutely DELICIOUS!
The shrimp on my poboy and the fish gave me a very similar taste to how the fried shrimp and fish used to taste like at politz. I was so happy about that. We were told by the waitress at politz that they no longer serve Louisiana catfish. Which was really sad to hear , and taste. With this visit at Ginas at the Legion I now no longer have to worry about what place to go to get some good ole Louisiana seafood when Im back in town.
When I was younger Gina used to run a snowball stand that us all in St. Charles Community would support. It was great to continue to support her restaurant. Thank you Gina for all of your great dishes and memories that came along with them.
Patrick Small 3 meats 2 sides less than $20. Brisket, pulled pork, and turkey were all good. Cant beat having a good bbq stand across from the truck stop
