Ed Virtue Delicious food, served quickly, it is fresh and flavorful and the setting just above the Ouachita River is cool. It has a bit of a dive-bar/restaurant feel if im being honest. Menus are a bit tattered. Not pictured are the red beans and rice, which are my favorite, absolutely a must if you stop by. Portions are generous and the servers are always attentive and efficient too. Pictured are the half and half, (half fried crawfish tails, half etouffee) and seafood platter, both are really good.

Anne Aultman Stopped here for shrimp because of the reviews. I ordered fried shrimp and it comes with more French fries than you can eat and a piece of bread. Food was hot and good! Glad I stopped to try it while camping at St Bernards State Park.

Richard Luper I have been eating at Fattys for 20 years. I have never had a bad meal. It is a small mom and pop with a big heart. Come with a empty belly because you will have plenty to fill it. They have a daily special plate and a consistent menu. One of my favorite goto spot when im in the area.

Bobby Banning I travel to Baton Rouge quite a bit and always try to here if possible. I suggest you show up as close to 11 am that you can. This place isnt very big and fills up very quickly. Locals come here for the BBQ however being from Houston Texas Im accustomed to top level BBQ. Not saying the BBQ here isnt good I justI come here for the catfish or shrimp. I got the catfish plate with green beans and macaroni. Mac and cheese is pretty average. The green beans are to die for. They taste amazing!! Dont know if its the ham or pork that they add in but they are a must. Catfish is amazing as well. Very clean and never none of that silver stuff or dark meat. I highly suggest you give this place a visit but come early!!

Janie Cumpian-Tey Beautiful restaurant we happened to stop for dinner on our way in the Houston area. Delicious wild berry margarita & shrimp Alfredo. Staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a trip back!
