Detroit Fish & Shrimp - (Near Southfield, MI)

S B This was first time ordering from here but I had there food at my friends place so thought I would order from here. I ordered full size chicken vijayawala biryani. It has been a while I had a good biryani. The flavor, spices and the quantity were all perfect. The biryani tasted like biryani not like someone mixed chicken and rice. The meat was seasoned well and they were good amount of chicken. They were very nice helped me even load up in my car. I’ll definitely be ordering more.

Chelsi May We were visiting Michigan from out of state and looking for a chill place to eat, We visited The Old Goat on a Monday at 5 or so pm, this place was jumping! The energy was a vibe, we ordered early enough for happy hour too! JT was our server and his service was impeccable! He was knowledgeable about the menu gave his recommendations AND crowd faves. Let’s be honest JT was a whole vibe just himself even if the food was bad (which it was amazing) I still would have returned because our service experience was probably the best we’ve ever had. Hubby had a few yeunglings and I had a Cider (first time, recommended by JT and it was delish) We got apps first - Deviled eggs but remixed like green bean casserole they were so good and Bizzy Grizzy (a biscuit/muffin top texture) with cheese and some sauce dip, there were salt flake sprinkles on top and this was so savory paired perfect with the dip sauce. My hubby got the Mac Daddy and ofcourse I had to taste test that, it was absolutely delicious. I got the pick 4 - lobster bisque soup, it was very rich and creamy, Uncle Cesar Salad, the Emily Reuben and some french fries. The pastrami was slice perfectly not too thick or too thin and the entire Reuben itself was delicious, my favorite was the pumpernickel bread it’s made with. For dessert we order a goat cheese cheesecake with crumbled nuts and that really hit the spot too. Everything was perfect all around.We will be back the next time we’re in town and will 100% be asking for JT!

Mike Fein I was part of a group of 25, and a local took us here. Our table was ready, and we took our seats. We had a spectacular server, who handled this entire group with incredible professionalism, grace, and efficiency. Drinks quickly came to us. Actually for, a big group, the food came in good time, served nicely hot. I ordered the French dip, which came with a bag of chips, and an excellent herbal dipping sauce. Well it is a bar, tons of people, which made talking pretty tough. But should I return to the Detroit area, I would definitely go back.

Katy Guilbault I was looking for a fun experience for my sisters 30th birthday and Flights of Fancy did NOT disappoint! The vibe was so cool! The food was SO good!!! There was 8 of us and we all loved our food! Erica was an amazing server who really made sure my sister felt the love on her birthday! The bartender was so fun with a special trick for the birthday shots! Absolutely cannot wit to come back!

nworb2022 Absolutely fantastic! Our group of four visited on what seemed to be a bustling Saturday night. With homecoming and birthday celebrations happening all around, the staff at 5th was exceptionally impressive in handling it all! Perhaps our food order was placed before the arrival of those larger groups, but we enjoyed remarkable dishes, including some of the best salmon weve ever had (no unpleasant fishy taste or dry salmon here). A big shout-out to 5th Tavern for delivering outstanding food and seamless service. We will definitely return. The dishes pictured include the Thai chicken salad, chipotle BBQ burger, and cedar plank Scottish salmon.
