Mr. Joes Sports Bar and Grill - (Near Southfield, MI)

5 /5 Mike Fein: I was part of a group of 25, and a local took us here. Our table was ready, and we took our seats. We had a spectacular server, who handled this entire group with incredible professionalism, grace, and efficiency. Drinks quickly came to us. Actually for, a big group, the food came in good time, served nicely hot. I ordered the French dip, which came with a bag of chips, and an excellent herbal dipping sauce. Well it is a bar, tons of people, which made talking pretty tough. But should I return to the Detroit area, I would definitely go back.

4 /5 John Wettlaufer: We stopped in looking for a good bar burger and a beer, and the food did not disappoint. Both meals were cooked exactly the way we asked and tasted great. We also ordered a cheese pizza for our daughter to take home, and she said it was very good as well. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to see that a 20% gratuity had already been added, along with a suggestion to add an additional 3–5%. While we enjoyed the food, we’re not sure we’re comfortable with that level of tipping pressure.

4 /5 Albert Emery: This place wasnt bad. Pretty flavorful burger, fast and friendly service, and a pretty good atmosphere. It was a little pricey for what you got though. I ordered a burger because that seemed to be a highlight on their menu. And it was very good. The flavor of the beef was top notch. But other than that attribute, it wasnt really worth $14. The bun wasnt very high quality and all the burger came with was a bag of chips. It wasnt served on a plate either; just one of those basket things. As far as the at atmosphere, it was more of the feel of a tavern than a sports bar and grill. The service was very good as well. My waitress, Katie, did an excellent job. Waitresses like her are what keep bars like this desirable. Overall, this place wasnt bad. A little pricey, but pretty flavorful food. Also, good atmosphere and great service.

5 /5 Christian Wohler: I love Mr joes! I come here every Sunday to watch football. The food is always great and the service is even better. Shout out Elliot he’s the best!
