4 /5 Sarah D: We were visiting friends & family in Grand Rapids and decided to try out this local favorite for dinner. It was clearly the place to be—very busy, but we had a reservation and got seated right away.
I had the seared sea scallops with risotto. It was a little salty, but still tasty and beautifully plated. My husband went for the ribeye steak with a side of mac and cheese—both were a hit!
The ambience was dim-lit with a strong focus on the bar. It felt cozy and upscale, but it did get pretty loud inside, especially at our larger table of seven. During our dinner, they dimmed the lights even more—so much so that everyone at our table commented on how dark it suddenly got. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you’re hoping for a quieter or brighter dining experience.
Service was great, drinks were solid, and overall we enjoyed the night. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in town!
