5 /5 Stacy Roelofs: My sister and I made reservations here to celebrate her birthday and we were sat right away with a place card showing we were celebrating a birthday which was a great touch! Our waiter gave us a quick rundown of the menu and some of his personal recommendations. Our drinks and food both came out quickly after we ordered them and everything was delicious. You can tell that everything was local or scratch made too! The service was stellar, the drinks were balanced and refreshing, and our food was the top quality I would have expected. I would definitely recommend checking them out!

5 /5 Jenessa: We started with crab cakes and steak tartare. Both were excellent. Cocktails were spot on. I had scallops with risotto for my meal. The risotto was quite salty, but the scallops were perfect. When they learned my risotto was too salty they put a credit towards our bill. The asparagus with whipped feta was super delicious. The service was superb. One of our cocktails took a bit to come out and our server let us know they weren’t going to charge us for it. We didn’t even notice and never had to ask. Overall, an excellent experience. I can’t wait to go back!

4 /5 Sarah D: We were visiting friends & family in Grand Rapids and decided to try out this local favorite for dinner. It was clearly the place to be—very busy, but we had a reservation and got seated right away. I had the seared sea scallops with risotto. It was a little salty, but still tasty and beautifully plated. My husband went for the ribeye steak with a side of mac and cheese—both were a hit! The ambience was dim-lit with a strong focus on the bar. It felt cozy and upscale, but it did get pretty loud inside, especially at our larger table of seven. During our dinner, they dimmed the lights even more—so much so that everyone at our table commented on how dark it suddenly got. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you’re hoping for a quieter or brighter dining experience. Service was great, drinks were solid, and overall we enjoyed the night. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in town!

5 /5 Carmen Yarnell: Gin Gin’s is truly exceptional! The food is flavorful, beautifully presented, and made with care. What impressed me even more was the staff’s thoughtfulness—the host surprised me with a custom piano postcard birthday card, and my waitress, Voilet, added a heartfelt birthday wish that made the evening unforgettable. Their warmth and attention to detail turned a great meal into a cherished memory. Highly recommend!
