5 /5 gjsch: We come from out of town to Lanny’s at least once a week. My husband loves the ham and cheese omelette, lots of ham and cheese and cooked perfectly,no scorching. The homemade soups are good and the peanut butter cake for something different. The grilled sandwiches are crispy not soggy. The cooks are consistently good. The group has great teamwork helping each other with coffee refills and clearing plates. Just good diner food and service.
5 /5 Trinity Scoles: Went Friday sep 26th, lovely wait staff, great food, fast wait time. Very reasonably priced, I had short stack pancakes for $6.99, sausage links $3.99, egg ($1.30ish) and toast. Very good overall, will be back for breakfast again!!
5 /5 AJ Shero: Extra fantastic cheeseburger, great fries and tasty cold side salad. Service great. The house-made croutons were excellent. Looking forward to returning!
4 /5 Jeremy McCourt: Fairly good food. Selection wasnt that impressive compared to what Im used to but not bad for what it is. Service was friendly and environment was decent.
5 /5 Wyrd Woman: I love gyro/Greek omelets. I went here because they had one and I was not disappointed. There gyro omelet was the best I have ever had! It is stuffed full of meat, like when I go back I wont have to order it with double meat. There was a generous amount of feta. I ordered it without tomato. I upgraded the potatoes to the "red potatoes" which were way more than I expected. Potaoes perfectly seasoned with peppers, absolutely delicious! The only thing that could have made the plate better would have been a few kalamata olives as edible garnish to balance the richness of the feta.
The service was great. The people pleasant and a totally family oriented dining room.
I highly recommend this place.
My only issue next time I go will be whether I indulge in the excellent omlett or explore more of what Im sure to be fabulous options.
Mike 1st time here
I ordered the triple decker club sandwich with ff and my wife ordered a 1/3 lb bacon cheese burger with onion rings.
The ff were good. The onion rings were very good. The bacon cheese burger was very, very good as was the triple club.
Our waitress Roxanne was very attentive and didnt miss a trick.
The atmosphere & decor looks to be from the 70s but was clean.
We had a very good lunch and we are looking forward to enjoying a dinner here soon.
Roberta Mendes Franklin I don’t write reviews. Ever! But there’s always the first time for everything. This place should not have only 4.3 stars. I posted my husband’s pancakes picture because by the time I thought to write a review my skillet was gone. Everything, I mean everything from service to food was 10 out 10. Carolyn was our server, efficient and friendly was her middle name. There’s not many good breakfast places in the area and we are definitely coming back!
Armin Shakry Im surpised why we do not come here more often.
Weve been here at least 15 times in 3 years and its always been good and not as expensive as most family restaurants.
Below are the pics of the main course.
Plus 2 Fries, 3 desserts, cup of soup and a basket of bread and butter. All for a grand total of 54 dollars.
Im glad its not far from where I live.
tamica Thomas Haven’t been here in awhile. So I thought I would review b/c this hidden gem made it through COVID and I want folks to know it’s still open. Great food, service is professional and the ambiance is family oriented.
If you decide to come here, let me know how you liked it.
Gloria Thompson We had a nice waitress. I think her name was
Daisry. Very nice. She made sure we were well taken care of. Everything was good on the food and hot. I don’t know what’s going on, but they must have a new owner..
