5 /5 Sheila Gross: Great atmosphere, very professional and agreeably attentive waitstaff. The manager stopped by to check on our table. The house made lemoncello is fantastic. Dress up for this fabulous dinner. Gluten free options are available and easily explained. Do NOT miss out on the beef tips on the appetizer menu! One of the very best items on the menu! Dont miss out of a truly phenomenal dinner.

5 /5 Tony Deck: I have been coming here for 30 years. I knew the original owner Mike before he passed. Now the daughter and family runs it. I have tried most things on menu at least once. However, the very best thing to get is table side Chateaubriand for two. OMG this is AMAZING! It’s not cheap but worth it. 7 course meal and you’ll feel full for days. Biggest recommendation is make a reservation. Without one good luck! On extremely busy holiday nights probably not the best. Too many people to experience high quality dining when there is a line out the door. Any other regular days you’ll love it. Business casual dining. Black tie servers, white table clothes. Easy 50-100 per. For the Chateaubriand for two several hundred. Drinks are great. Service is excellent. One of my all time favorite places to go.

4 /5 Ken Durbin: Elegant Dining with a Minor Setback. I recently visited this beautifully appointed restaurant and overall had a good experience. The dining room was tastefully arranged with crisp white tablecloths, dim lighting, and a warm, inviting ambiance. The chandeliers and classic decor added a touch of sophistication that made the evening feel special. I ordered the salmon, which came with carrots, creamed spinach, and green beans—all cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation matched the upscale setting. However, upon arrival, I stopped by the restroom and noticed one of the urinals was out of service and bagged. A temporary container had been placed to catch dripping water, but unfortunately, water had pooled across the floor, suggesting the issue had been ongoing. It wasn’t a great first impression, especially since this could have been resolved more cleanly by shutting off the valve. Restroom upkeep is something I always pay attention to, and this situation felt overlooked. That said, the food and atmosphere were excellent, and I’d still recommend the restaurant—just hoping they tighten up the maintenance side to match the quality of the dining experience.

4 /5 Yvonne S: I’ve eaten here several times before Covid and decided to take my husband here for his Birthday. The lamb chop entree & oyster rockerfeller tasted good. The flavor still remains intact. However the portions of the lamb chops, twice baked mash potatoes and the 6 string beans that were placed on top of the 4 lamb chops (my 2 thick lamb chops were butterflied into 4) was an insult to the price of $95.00 per plate. The ratio of value to portion size is not worth it. Meanwhile, the server prepared our Caesar salad at our table and it was a little spicy (Tabasco sauce was used). I would suggest that the server states the ingredients being used prior to making the table side Caesar salad to ensure that the customer wants it added. I would recommend that Lellis serves reasonable portions based on the high prices they charge. Also, Lellis should consider repairing/replacing the broken ceiling tiles and painting. The lack of is very noticeable when you lookup and access the ambiance /decor. The service was great and the cocktails were reasonably priced. Lellis Is not worth the price that they are charging.

5 /5 Mark Jacobsma: That traditional steakhouse that your parents and grandparents talked about still exists right here. The food is great, but the hospitality is was makes this place for me. I called in 30 minutes prior to closing (had a delayed flight) to ask if they’d stay open so I could dine here. The answer was yes, we’d love to have you. Walked in and they welcomed us with a big smile and brought us to our table. You’re taken over by the classic feel of the dining room and you know you’re in a room filled with memories. The waitress brought over warm bread and went over the menu. Never feeling rushed and we were at the tail end of their night. We learned about the history of the restaurant while waiting for our food. The meals were delicious!!! If you’re in the area, stop in on what used to be a Detroit staple.
