Olivers Restaurant - Buffalo
Jillian Straw Having moved here recently from NYC where I spent considerable time working in varying levels of hospitality from fine dining to bagel shops, Olivers sticks out to me as a quintessential star in the Buffalo food scene.
On a ten grade scale I would give the food a 9/10 and the service a 13. Kim (and Charlie) specifically made my experience wonderful. After oysters, the steak tartare, scallops, and lemon cheesecake I was besotted, in a good way.
The true foodie passion shown in each dish, the ease and comfort in each conversation, and the level of care taken down to the detail (including specifically packaging my left over dishes based on small portions of our side conversation) all equates to a definite Must Go.
Apologies my pictures are vaguely lacking, half of them I couldnt stop myself from immediately tucking in, and the other half were taken in haste so that I could get right to them asap.
