Christopher Hoffman I stopped in on the first trivia night being a Buffalo native I was craving buffalo chicken wings, and I was not disappointed. The wings have a light batter and the sauce was delicious. I ordered buffalo sauce and of course with blue cheese. Curtis, the bar manager was quite hospitable and knowledge and made the perfect drink!!! In my opinion the best bartender in Batavia! My drink was perfect. The owners who I met, Elena and Courtney were lovely and welcoming!!! What an amazing addition to Main Street! Definitely a place to check out on Your next visit to Batavia!!!

Kristi Smith My family has been staying here since the 80’s. My brother and I used to take match box cars and race them down the slanted floors. It’s from the 1800’s of course there’s no elevator. It’s charming and quiet. The service was amazing and it was very clean and safe. Every year the day after thanksgiving we have stayed the weekend. Since Covid things have changed a bit sadly but they are trying to keep up with the hotel. The pit is amazing. Baseballs greatest dined there and signed their names on the tables. Along with my family. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if you are into history and a comfortable stay then come here. I do miss the breakfasts. Again Covid changed a lot. I see people complaining about the hotels footings being unlocked during the night. It’s a small town. You have locks on your rooms doors for a reason. Parking isn’t as bad as others stated. Behind the in is great and the street. Yes the place is dated but it’s the Cooperstown feel of the old times. Simpler times. It’s a hidden gem. Sure it could use better upkeep but we will always come back year after year. Winter months are great in this town. Day after thanksgiving is the best Christmas parade.

Joan Coleman Right on the river, open dining, great service and food. I do think if you are considering a visit here for a meal, go online and check out the menu. They also have these tiny houses that are available for rent. The NYS rail trail runs along the river right behind them. The trail ends at the sojourner truth park in East kingston. What a beautiful trail. Right along side the river, beautiful pavilion, picnic tables,spotless clean, potties available along the trail and this park is under construction. You should Google it and check out the new plan for it. Gonna be even more amazing. Gotta check this out. Love being by our beautiful river with beautiful trails, there are three by the way when you start at the park, plenty of parking, stations set up explaining what that entire area was about and is gonna be. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Arthur I discovered Authentic Jerk at Center Ithaca several months ago and have been returning every week since my first meal. As someone who has traveled to Jamaica for my vacations almost every year since 2000, I can tell you with all sincerity that Authentic Jerks food is just as tasty and high quality as the food served in the best restaurants in Jamaica. Its clear that they dont skip any steps in their preparation, as the spices and seasonings are authentic, and all the dishes are extremely well prepared. Since chicken is the only meat I consume, I normally order the curry chicken or stew chicken, and its always very tender and ready to fall off the bone served with delicious gravy. The rice and peas are well seasoned, and the collard greens and cabbage are steamed nicely with subtle Jamaican spices. The fried plantain, mac n cheese and festival (fried dough) are always good as well. Manners and respect to Authentic Jerk!
