Pleasant Valley Inn - (Near Bath, NY)

Jonathan Stoller My wife and I visited this shop after hearing about it from a friend. We were excited as I hadn’t had authentic Filipino food in years. The wonderful woman at the counter suggested the sample plater #18 Supreme Fiesta Plate and I could not be more happy. The place is small but cosy, smells delicious, and the food was wonderful. The lumpia was the star in my opinion, but the chicken was bbq’ed perfectly, and the pork succulent and delicious. Will definitely be returning!

Matt Parker A great classic coffee shop with real espresso which can be difficult to come by in the area. The vibe was very jam band and rustic which was a cool contrast to some of the ultra hip clean aesthetic coffee shops Ive been to. The staff were super friendly and their classic espresso drinks as well as flavored options were great. Will have to go back and try the food as it looked fantastic. A little confusing to get to, but parking on the main drag and walking back and around wasnt too bad and the outdoor space was a cool little alcove. Edit: Finally tried the food and it was fantastic. Very rich, but great quality and taste

A R All of the restaurants within walking distance of the Hyatt were closed on Sunday night when we arrived, so we gave the Placery within the hotel a try. The service at the bar was great, and while the menu was limited, the food was more than solid. We were both pleasantly surprised tonight!

Rebecca S In town for a quick weekend visit and we were looking out a spot for a burger. We stopped by one spot, which said they were open late and when we walked through the door we were told they were about to close the kitchen. While we were irritated, it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. We found Chef Mikes and had a phenomenal meal. Huge portions, fantastic flavor, thick juicy burgers and delicious shakes. The people were great and their pup Lola was a sweet girl. If you are looking to be impressed, stop by!

Isaac Brown This place was a little out of the way for us but I’m glad we had the opportunity to visit Klocke Estate. It was our favorite meal of the restaurants we tried on our trip to the Catskills, and the commanding view of the surrounding area from the top of the hill along with mountains in the distance made for a lovely backdrop for photo-taking. All of the dishes we had (croquettes, carrots, cavatelli) were flavorful, well-executed, and perfectly portioned, as was the cherry dessert. I enjoyed the sidecar and I saw a few more drinks on the menu Id be interested in coming back for next time. Service was excellent throughout from all of the staff members we met. It’s certainly not a place to go for those who want the greatest quantity of food per dollar, but for us it was absolutely worth it. Whenever we next return to the Catskills area, we’ll be sure to stop by again.

Stephanie Long I just noticed the negative review someone left regarding vegetarian options. Ive been eating at Phat Backs for years as a vegetarian! They always made me something meat free and delicious! All I needed to do was ask the owner for vegetarian fare and he was more than accommodating. The ingredients are fresh and preservative free, you cant beat that! From my conversations with them its noteworthy that they dont even own a freezer. All of their food is as fresh as can be. Just look at this Instagram worthy sandwich! And, as a vegetarian, veggie burgers died in the 90s. Im excited Phat Backs is now at The Shed. GREAT beer, food and tunes. ❤️
