Essex has been a staple for over 20 years, housed in a beautiful historic loft style building and has recently undergone a full rebrand and remodel. The space now blends modern elegance with classic architectural charm, creating an upscale yet inviting dining atmosphere. From the stylish interiors to the perfectly cooked steaks and elevated appetizers, every detail feels intentional and refined. maciah cone wanted sit down breakfast at a small business with my husband, had a rough time somewhere else and left before being sat. came to Jelly Beans as we have never sat in there before. immediately greeted despite being busy. we came at 1:15ish and asked if that was too late as they close at 2. Debbie was amazing and made us feel so welcomed. got to admire how cute it is inside. staff all worked together and we got our food quickly and it was perfect. got to enjoy our breakfast. we did run a couple minutes over but Debbie and other staff out on the floor (also amazing) still checked on us and made sure we were good. we enjoyed our experience so much and it really has set the tone for a great day. thank you so much to Jelly Beans for having us and giving us beyond top notch experience. it was what we wanted and more. will be returning. you guys are blessed to have the staff representing your business. again - shout out to Debbie and thanks for serving us!

Krishna pino For me this place is always more than 5 stars ✨ it is a gem at Dumbo area. The food is delicious, cocktails and atmosphere amazing. Today was actually very special occasion because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The gave us the best table facing the east river and the city. Our server Wendy 10/10 she made the experience even better with all the best options in the menu. If you go to this place please ask for her Wendy is the best. She will take care of y’all because we could tell is knowledgeable about premium hospitality.

Brooke Had dinner here two nights in a row on our trip here in the Catskills. Food was amazing both nights as was service. My favorite thing we had was the cauliflower buffalo wings. The workers also went above and beyond for us when my car broke down in the parking lot. Multiple employees came out and helped us and one even saved us by driving us back to where we were staying when our car wouldn’t start. Thank you so much to everyone that helped us.

Izod Man I recently visited Public Provisions at the Rochester Farmers Market on a Tuesday, and I have to say, my experience was wonderful. Their cup of coffee was absolutely perfect—rich, smooth, and exactly what I needed to start my morning at the market. One thing that really stands out about Public Provisions is their commitment to being an LGBTQ+ friendly space, which creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Plus, there’s a fantastic bread shop in the back of the store, so be sure to check it out when you visit! I highly recommend stopping by for great coffee and even better vibes.
