Nights this prior weekend, in the early early morning my daughters phone fell beside the head board, she reached down to get it and finds an ADULT TOY, ok we get that probably happens but none the less it’s gross. They alert housekeeping who laughs and then proceeds to pick it up with their BARE HANDS and my daughter says how would that get missed and the housekeeper tells her well we just zip in here and out we don’t clean down in there, my daughter says well if you changed the sheets you definitely wouldn’t miss that, again she’s met with laughter. Sh proceeds to go to the front desk where she is met with more laughter and then dismissal. Now mind you my child is just of age to start renting hotel rooms so she’s like this is gross mom is this normal, I say no and I call the hotel and ask for management. I explain to the desk attendant that we don’t think it’s funny really we think it’s gross not only because these literally go inside people and probably had bodily fluids on it but ever more gross that staff grabbed it with bare hands then continued to touch door knobs and her cart without washing her hands ! She agrees that we should be upset and says she will alert management to call me asap. Well that was 4 days ago, no correspondence back at all. This only tells me they have very little reguard for the nastiness. I can’t help but wonder how often they don’t change the sheets or who grabbed that door handle after the housekeeper. I hope at some point she washed her hands or sanitized them before she ate or went around touching elevators buttons and such. Adult toys can have a number of body excretion on them including feces or blood ! To say I’m beyond disgusted is an understatement! And the lack of correspondence is even more disturbing.
