Greg Page I went to The Village Tavern, a place that, despite its name, has kale! Im pretty sure I saw a kale leaf whisper to a shrimp in my power bowl that it was just a matter of time before they took over the world. The shrimp, bless its heart, just scuttled away in terror. The bowl was good, but Im keeping my eyes peeled for any signs of a leafy-green uprising.

Patrick Mcgrath Amazing spot! Passing through and stopped for taco bell, decided to come here instead, and boy was that the right decision! We ordered the lunch special of a steak quesadilla with rice and beans, and the Santa fe burrito, with an order of birria tacos as well, plus a mojito for her. Everything was cooked perfect, the meat was tender and juicy, the rice and beans werent stale, the burrito was loaded up, and the birria tacos had lots of flavor (get extra napkins with them though!). Food came out fast, and they were very attentive. For 50 bucks plus tip, I couldnt have had a better lunch out, and We left extremely full. Will be stopping by whenever we pass through!

Joani We stopped here randomly and it’s truly a hidden gem. Warm, welcoming spot with an incredibly diverse menu of top-notch eats. The chef is a genius. And not just your usual vegan option of a beyond burger, but such inspired fare as Jack fruit pulled pork. Amazing!

Eleven Waters - Syracuse

Rating: 4 /5
Michael LaBarbera Eleven Waters surprised us in the best way. None of us had heard anything about it before going but we want to keep trying new places and it was really great. Connected to the Marriott, Eleven Waters feels slightly tucked away from an the main door traffic downtown. Nonetheless, its clean, modern and quite spacious inside. The brunch menu was very reasonably priced for the area, which was very exciting for our wallets. The staff was lovely, we quickly had 2 team members try to seat us the moment they saw us and our server was wonderful. He had a great energy and that is always appreciated no matter where you are. The food was overall very good and we all enjoyed our mimosas. Everyone was quite pleased with a small caveat in the chicken on the chicken and waffles being on the dry side. Everything else was nailed, presentation was lovely and flavors popped bringing smiles all around. I recommend giving it a try as we will definitely be back again and look forward to trying their dinner service in the future. Enjoy!!

Mackenzie Taylor These people know what they’re doing. When I tell you everything was amazing… I can’t even… IT WAS SO GOOD. We got the 16 piece chicken family meal for 4 of us and a kid. They were not messin around, there was so much food. I’ve never had cornbread like theirs, it tasted almost like it could be a dessert, but not crazy sweet, like cinnamon and maple. We also got collard greens, mashed potatoes, and yellow rice as our sides. Everything was seasoned so well and the chicken was so juicy and crunchy. Imma have dreams about this food. I tried to be modest and take a picture of my plate before I demolished it.
