Evette Burset Saldana SIMPLY AMAZING! Everything was delicious and the service was on point. We’re from Kong Island, but will definitely visit again! Those pernil alcapurrias and bacalaitos were A+! Also tried the vegan sausage that were great.

PV Dias A great place for a delicious brunch in the Bronx. Many people worked there, too, and it was a very diverse and interesting environment. I would definitely come back to this place again. The food is delicious and the service is good. However, there were two mix-ups regarding orders both times I went. Sometimes people forgot the order that came after. I suggest kitchen staff throw away the order only after the full order is placed, or deliver the full order instead of splitting it, to avoid confusion and the second order not being delivered. This is just a small detail given the sophistication of this excellent restaurant.

5.Tortoise & Hare

Address: 6115 Broadway, Bronx, NY 10471

Franjez Tortoise and Hare exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The wings were crisp and well seasoned, the buffalo chicken nachos tasted fresh with house made tortillas, and the French onion soup dumplings were a standout. The skirt steak tacos were tender and flavorful, and the Bronx burger was cooked perfectly with a clean, buttery finish. The cocktails were balanced and genuinely well crafted. Service from Veronica and Stuart was attentive and warm, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better. A strong dining choice on Broadway in the Bronx.

Mike Smith Ive been going to Emilias since the mid 00s and havent had a bad or mediocre meal. The food is always fresh and spot on. The owner and some of the waitstaff are still there from when we first started going. Anytime we make the trip down from the mid-Hudson Valley we make sure to come here. On my most recent trip the calamari app was very tender, fresh and crisp; the pork chop special was out of this world and insanely tender.

7.An Beal Bocht Cafe

Address: 445 W 238th St, Bronx, NY 10463

Michael Gabert What a wonderful restaurant and bar/pub. Its filled floor to ceiling with ambiance. You get very personal service from the amazing staff (sometimes in that uniquely Irish way). The food is better than the traditional basic pub fair. They have a great dinner menu with Shepards Pie and the lot. Today I had the Chicken sandwich with a side of fries. It was very fresh, and the bread cracked slightly as I bit into it. This is a must for a toasted bread. If youre in the neighborhood, please, please stop by and enjoy An Beal Bocht. They have both indoor and heated outside seating!

Michael Beauton We stopped in from CT and were looking for an excellent/somewhat quiet restaurant: Perfect! Drinks were on spot, service too at a very fair Arthur Ave price! Food was delicious with the owner, Moise stopping by to chat. They’re open 7 days a week when we stopped in. Right in the heart of shopping!!

T Kong I just had the pleasure of dining at Radix with my family, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we walked through the door, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable evening. The unique design of the space is well executed - and conveys an aura of upscale and “island friendly” at the same time. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, and every staff member we interacted with seemed genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a perfect experience. Our server, Lisa, was incredibly gracious and personable. Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal! Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece, crafted with incredible attention to detail and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and the presentation was stunning. From the appetizers to the entrees (the portions were very generous, so we didn’t have room left for dessert), each bite was a delight, and it was evident that the chef put his heart and soul into every creation. The oxtail and the jerk chicken dishes were some of the best that we’ve ever had! As for the cocktails, the coconut martini was my favorite. If you’re looking for a West Indian culinary experience that will leave you raving for days, Radix is the place to go. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience, and one that my family and I can’t wait to have again!

Klein Visuals Excellent vibe and service! Something told me to get in this 30-year old masterpiece. I met a well-dressed waiter whom I knew since Catholic school! He and his staff gave me the best food and service in all of Bronx Little Italy! From the seafood pasta to the ice cream toffee, I loved everything Pasquale’s Rigoletto had to offer: food and an elegant atmosphere.

The portions were huge and everything arrived piping hot, from the filet mignon to the fresh sushi and flavorful fried rice. We also enjoyed lively cocktails and our friendly waiter made the night feel extra special. Flame didn’t disappoints and we will be back very soon, highly recommend for any occasion!

Jsilva I visited this restaurant for the first time and was really impressed! Their food menu is huge and offers great variety. The space is clean, fresh-looking, and has plenty of tables to accommodate guests comfortably. I ordered the mixed plate with tostones, shrimp, chicken, and steak — and it was absolutely delicious! I bought it for two people, but the portion was generous enough for three. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. I’d definitely recommend this place, especially for anyone planning a get-together but not in the mood to cook. It’s the perfect spot for great food and a relaxing time!
