Edmund Tadros They were super accommodating to my allergen issues. Was able to get a jerk chicken sandwich that was stupendous. Tried both the mac salad and cole slaw as sides and loved them. Definitely worth stopping by. Just sad that it was three nights in town before I did.

Anne DeSimone After a boat ride on Otsego Lake we stopped into Cooper’s Barn for lunch. We had three kids with us and the staff was very accommodating with customized orders. There was outdoor seating that was very comfortable. Also, they had separate windows for ordering food and ice cream. Ice cream in the front of the building and food in the back. This made ordering go faster. An outdoor game area is a great addition and keeps kids occupied while adults can relax. The staff of young adults were fabulous!!

BobHilton Business Worst pizza, Worst service, Horible, Horrible, Horrible. If I couldve rated this place a zero I would have. We went down and ordered four slices of pizza and two beverages for $36. I asked the waitress if the slices were gonna give us were fresh, as the pizzza in the display case looked old, she said yes, we have fresh pizza In the back. Yes she gave me attatude and In was super polite. We politely went inside and sat down in a seat when the pizza came out it truly was not fresh. It was disgusting. Obviously it was old and we took two or three bites and got up and threw a $36 meal in the garbage can and then proceed to get dirty look for the girl behind the counter. They were rude. The food was horrible as much as I almost never write a bad review. I would highly recommend you DO NOT EAT HERE!

Lydia Ruocco Everything about this place is out of this world amazing! The food came out hot and delicious, we had the manicotti-very tasty, a generous serving of gnocchi, and the best pasta primavera! Fresh baked hot bread was scrumptious, the waiter was friendly, and prices reasonable…. What more could you ask for? I would definitely eat here again.

Jason Creed I was in Cooperstown to see the hall of fame. Wanted to go somewhere to have a few beers and grab something to eat without breaking the bank. There were a lot of locals there. They were friendly and accepting of an out of towner. Beer is cold. Bar is friendly. Got some wings which were some of the best I’ve ever had, and a burger which was very good. The owner even bought me a beer. If you’re in the Cooperstown area, I would definitely recommend this place.

Kristi Smith My family has been staying here since the 80’s. My brother and I used to take match box cars and race them down the slanted floors. It’s from the 1800’s of course there’s no elevator. It’s charming and quiet. The service was amazing and it was very clean and safe. Every year the day after thanksgiving we have stayed the weekend. Since Covid things have changed a bit sadly but they are trying to keep up with the hotel. The pit is amazing. Baseballs greatest dined there and signed their names on the tables. Along with my family. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if you are into history and a comfortable stay then come here. I do miss the breakfasts. Again Covid changed a lot. I see people complaining about the hotels footings being unlocked during the night. It’s a small town. You have locks on your rooms doors for a reason. Parking isn’t as bad as others stated. Behind the in is great and the street. Yes the place is dated but it’s the Cooperstown feel of the old times. Simpler times. It’s a hidden gem. Sure it could use better upkeep but we will always come back year after year. Winter months are great in this town. Day after thanksgiving is the best Christmas parade.

Jose I recently stayed at The Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown for four nights while attending my friends Jack and Caroline’s wedding, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I stayed with my best friend and best man, Peter, and we were both blown away by the comfort and spaciousness of our room. The suites are incredibly generous in size, making it easy to relax and unwind after a busy day. The staff at The Otesaga were absolutely lovely—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every interaction, from check-in to dining, was seamless and made us feel at home. I particularly loved using the resort’s gym; it was well-equipped, clean, and perfect for staying on top of my workouts while traveling. Breakfast each morning was a true highlight. The breakfast bar was stocked with a wide variety of fresh options, and the made-to-order omelettes were exceptional—definitely the best I’ve had at a hotel! Of course, the main event—the wedding—was breathtaking. The coordination and attention to detail were flawless, and the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. From the ceremony to the reception, everything ran perfectly, making it a truly magical experience. Overall, The Otesaga Resort Hotel is a top-notch destination for both leisure stays and special events. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely return in the future!

Wilma Reeder On a snowy night my son, daughter-in-law and I stopped to eat when we were in town to visit the Fenimore Museum. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our server was very friendly. I had to fish and chips, my daughter-in-law had the special, Lamb Marsala and my son had the Delmonico. The food was delicious. We did have to wait a little bit for my sons steak because they dont start serving the Delmonico till 5:00 and we were there a little earlier than that. But we had a delicious appetizer, Bang Bang Cauliflower while we waited. The prices are tad high-end but well worth it. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Rabecca Burris Oh my god so good! I SCARFED down the food before I could take a photo… Oh my god!!! Service was 10/10, hats off to everyone here. Pretzels were amazing. They offered me extra sauces without me needing to ask, wow, this exceeded my expectations by miles, and I was expecting a lot! Hats off to Sarah as the best bartender ever. Waitress Megan was so kind. I felt like family. A shame I live in Texas. Was in town for the baseball tournament with my husband, wow. Love him. Fairly priced food and he paid for it, what a gentleman.

Martin Davis I would say the distance the best meal Ive had in a very long time at a restaurant that I did not know. Was referred to them by the Baseball Hall of Fame, and it lived up to all the hype they gave it. Patio was awesome to sit on. The service was superb, and the food was just to die for.
