Elephant #8 Thai Cuisine & Sushi - (Near Sharon, PA)

4 /5 Grego D: Ive heard good things about this place. Unfortunately, it didnt quite live up to the reviews I read. First of all, I ordered crab ragoons as an appetizer. But within a few minutes after ordering, my main course came out. About 10 minutes into the meal, a waitress came out asking if I had ordered the ragoons. I said yes, but that I had wanted them before the meal. She said it would only take a couple of minutes to make them, so I agreed. Both dishes were large and flavorful. My other complaint was the iced tea. It comes in a small cup full of ice. I asked for a refill, but they brought out another cup just like the first one.

5 /5 Shane M: As an avid sushi lover, the closest place used to be about 30 minutes out from me to get good, fresh sushi. Until Elephant #8 came along, that is! Every now and then my wife and I get a huge sushi kick and like to get a nice big order of sushi! This restaraunt is so close and their sushi is absolutely DELICIOUS! The staff and owner are truly exceptional, extremely polite, attentive, and caring; Absolutely the stars of service and customer passion. This restaraunt and those who work here are an incredible blessing to the community, the food is to die for, and the dining atmosphere is amazing. Truly an incredible experience all around. I definitely plan on returning many more times over, and those in the area looking for a good stop for well priced food, great portions, incredible and friendly staff, you should stop here at least once; You wont regret it!

5 /5 Daralee Hudgens: I have, without a doubt, found my new Thai restaurant. This place was absolutely great! The service was, hands down, amazing. We were greeted with smiles, checked on throughout, my child was given a couple of balloons from the Valentines balloons throughout the restaurant, and they had no problems with us adding to our order for us to take with us when we were done. The people were super friendly. The food was delicious! We had friend rice, pad Thai, spring rolls, egg rolls, my fiancé got some kind of fried shrimp dish, a deep fried octopus sushi roll, Thai iced tea. It was all perfect! I havent had pad Thai this good in years. And they obviously take pride in their food as its aesthetically plated and cut. The carrots and cucumbers are sliced with little serrated edges. Its all beautiful. Speaking of aesthetics, the restaurant itself is lovely. One of the first things my fiancé noticed, having worked in HVAC previously, was the ductwork being painted and matching the interior. The TVs flash through pictures of menu items, the owner and employees, as well as previous customers, giving a very welcoming vibe. The whole place appears upscale while maintaining a family friendly welcoming energy and being affordable.

5 /5 Matthew Santiago: The first time Ive ever been here and the first time being to a Thai place before and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was amazing, not as spicy as I wanted it to be despite them saying it was as spicy as it could go, but everything else altogether was beyond perfect.

5 /5 Angelica Bohurjak: The best Thai in the area! I’ve tried the other Thai food in the Youngstown-Warren-Sharon areas and nothing compares, even better than many Thai places I’ve had in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. I ordered the lunch Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and it’s phenomenal! Only 10 dollars and they give you a mini egg roll as well! It’s a bit on the spicy side (I ordered spice level 1) so I would suggest ordering a lesser spice level than you are used to. The milk tea is very sweet and refreshing. When I went in to pickup my order the atmosphere is SO pretty! Will definitely be back to dine in next time!
