Mama Pepinos Pizza - (Near White Oak, PA)

Reaven Very good small sandwich /pizza shop with a laid back vibe and counter service. I had several sandwiches, 1 custom, the other the "Fire department." They were easily worth their price at 10$ for a full sub. Packed with a fair amount of toppings and meat. The custom order did not skimp on any addition and they added enough to make it overflowing with toppings. The fire department was excellent. Despite a simple combination of bread, chicken, cheese, and sauce, every part stood together as a perfect whole. The business is small but adequate. You can totally eat in, and there is a TV usually playing food network hits inside. It is simply decorated, but clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend trying to negotiate a seat by the front windows, you have a nice view of town from it. The staff are pleasant and comfortable to be around. The counter service is easy and they bring you food to you if you dine in. From there, youre free to casually lounge and not be bothered, which is a great way to escape the sometimes pressuring environments of traditional restaurants that want to turn over tables. Overall this would be a place I visit often if I were in Meadville more. I can see this being a great fast lunch option, or a small meeting catering option.

Jonathan Witmer-Rich Excellent food, great vibes, we loved it. Three of us shared the papas a la huancaina appetizer, the ceviche entree, and the lomo soltado de carne. All three were great. Friendly staff, good service. Just a fantastic meal all around.

White Tie Optional We love the friendly atmosphere that hosts a hip yet unpretentious crowd. The servers are delightful, and you will find yourself feeling welcome when you arrive and revived when you leave. Enjoy!

Shieva E. Wow… this is really good pizza. And trust me—we’ve eaten A LOT of pizzas in our lives, and this one ranks near the very top. The crust is perfectly baked—crispy on the edges but still soft and chewy inside. The cheese melts into every corner of the pan, and the sauce… LAWD, the sauce! Rich, tangy, sweet and laid on top in those classic stripes that make each bite extra flavorful. We tried loaded toppings, and every slice was stacked just right. Nothing greasy or soggy—just pure pizza heaven. The flavor balance was so good we didn’t even need extra seasoning or dipping sauce. If you’re a pizza lover, you need to try Bubba’s at least once. Honestly, it’s the kind of pizza you crave again the next day. Definitely adding this spot to our must-return list.

Patrick Rowe My dad and I went here over the holidays. The bartender was very nice. The Italian food was as good as I remember it from 20 years ago. It was like stepping back in time and getting a reasonably priced homemade Italian meal. The beer list is also extensive for being an Italian restaurant. The pizza and wedding soup were perfectly prepared and flavored.
