The Gauchos Way Brazilian Steakhouse - Lancaster

Rating: 4.8 /5
Jennifer U This is a special treat for the carnivores of the world! They start out by explaining the "salad bar" which is not just salad, but grilled vegetables, special cheeses, fruits, charcuterie and then the "hot bar" which has beans and rice, mac and cheese, candied bacon and more. But dont fall for it! Get yourself a nice little sampling, but save your appetite for the meat! They keep it coming!! The staff were so stealthy, sliding up and slicing off the most tender cuts, cooked to perfection and just seasoned enough (I usually salt everything and didnt touch it!!) I think we loved the sirloin the best, until we finished the night with a perfect, filet mignon. They had lamb, sausages, some pork, chicken wrapped in bacon and beef, beef, beef! Always warm, medium, medium rare, however you like it. They also brought small dishes of mashed potatoes, potato wedges and fried bananas, plus these little cheesy popover things for the table to share. Tasty, but dont fill up. I think these are decoys to throw you off the real prize, the steak! The staff were so attentive, they remembered how you liked it cooked each time they came around. And, by the time you put down your empty glass of Brazilian lemonade (a touch of sweet milk in lemonade), a fresh glass was there to replace it. I cant believe they had the audacity to ask us if we wanted dessert...if Id had an inch of space left in my stomach, Id have had more beef! Its expensive for sure, but when you want yo treat yourself, or celebrate, you deserve this experience! Go for it!

TKO gyros fries and more - McKeesport

Jaime Adams It was our first time trying this place, certainty not our last. I got a gyro and a gyro platter for my wife. The amount of meat on both was fantastic. The toppings in her tray were also in abundance. I really feel that what you get for the price the value is unbeatable!

Builder H I am a fan of thin pizza but this pizza was incredible. Great sauce, crispy pepperoni and perfect cheese crunch outside. The brown ale is up there also. Pic after we started eating.

Salvador Rodriguez Indulge in a symphony of flavors with the chicken wings, steak burger & their chicken tenders and fries at this culinary haven. The chicken wings are a crispy revelation, glistening with a tantalizing glaze that marries sweetness and heat in a dance of perfection. Each bite unveils a delicate yet explosive blend of spices, igniting your taste buds with a fiery crescendo. As for the steak burger, its a masterpiece that transcends the ordinary. The beef patty is a canvas of succulence, grilled to juicy perfection and adorned with layers of aged cheddar that melt like a golden sunset. Nestled within a freshly baked brioche bun, its a harmonious blend of textures that intertwine with every bite, leaving a lingering symphony of umami. The chicken tenders are a revelation of tenderness, each piece coated in a delicate yet crunchy armor that promises a symphony of textures in every bite. With a subtle hint of seasoning that dances on your palate, they are a culinary embrace that leaves you craving for more. Complementing these gastronomic treasures are the fries, a masterpiece of crispiness and flavor. These golden-brown batons of delight are a journey of contrasts, offering a satisfying crunch as you first bite into their warm exterior, followed by a creamy, potato-soft interior that melts on your tongue. Every bite is a harmonious blend of simplicity and satisfaction, capturing the essence of comfort food at its finest. Together, these culinary creations offer an experience that transcends mere dining, enveloping you in a realm where taste and imagination unite. Its a sensory journey that paints a vivid picture, where the sizzle of the grill and the aroma of spices become an intricate tapestry of culinary delight.

Todd McIntyre 1st time here. No gripes at all. Very good experience -food was tasty, coffee good, service excellent. As a note, I order a cheese omlette, potatoes, side of scrapple, and rye toast if its my first breakfast at a place. Ill order other items on subsequent trips. My scrapple and potatoes were perfect. Omlette was good. The rye toast is, apparently, baked in-house. Wouldve gladly bought a loaf. Service was attentive. Coffee kept warm. Did not know what to expect as I pulled in to park. Side entrance. Very glad I did. Next time, Ill order something else off the menu next and ask about buying some rye ... [Ive had breakfast at about ten area diners in the general area fairly recently. Most are good/very good. Urban was, for me, a touch better. ]

Christopher Thompson Interesting restaurant model, offering many menus and cuisines primarily for takeout but with clean and pleasant seating inside as well. We had things from the Greek and Mexican menus but plan to return to try the wide, wide variety again. Dessert photos look particularly enticing, but we didnt have room this time.
