Acropolis - (Near Harker Heights, TX)

4 /5 Pookie Simmons: The food was delicious we got the Mediterranean wrap(16.99) and grilled salmon (19.99) now I dont know who in the back grilled that salmon(12/23 2ish pm), but bay bayy when I tell you that salmon was in my top 5 of some of the best salmon I ever ate. The potatoes nice outside crisp while soft on the inside. The gyro meat was very tender. Our server she was really nice and attentive. Its a nice vibe I would definitely do a girls meet up or a very nice dinner there they also have a great wine selection. I definitely recommend.

5 /5 Chuck Joseph: This is a classic Greek Restaurant with Bar. Food is fresh. Somewhat pricey, but appropriate. More of a classy Greek place. Upscale. But prices wont scare you away. Worth the better service and atmosphere. Portion size is a little small, but it was enough. Everything is cooked to order. Heather was great. Very personable bar tender and she is the general manager. Overall worth it. Dont come sweaty after playing disc golf. Or at least slap on some cologne.

5 /5 AC Griffin: I love Acropolis. The food is always great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. My sister had eggplant rollatini, I had rack of lamb with roasted potatoes and roasted cauliflower. I added a greek salad. My mom had the snapper and lemon soup as a side, my aunt had the Santorini pasta, my husband had the gyro plate. We had fried zucchini and baked feta for appetizers. For dessert, we got chocolate eruption and lemoncello cake. The chocolate cake was moist and delicious.

1 /5 Jenn Satterwhite: I want to give this place 5 stars, I’ve been a loyal customer for years. The atmosphere is classy, calm. The food is good. Tonight I came for dinner with my mom who is visiting from out of state, I spoke so highly of the place. I get the “dinner rush” and I get the possibility of a long wait. However right at the door at 6:30pm with a posted closing time of 2100 we were told for a party of 6 “unfortunately we won’t serve you”. I was thrown by the delivery of the message. You “won’t” serve us ? She then proceeded to say well with the wait and so on.. which I would have still understood… but she was very adamant that they would not serve us because it would take two small tables. We weren’t given the option of the wait list. This is not posted as a reservation only restaurant so delivering a message like that is bizarre. My mom felt embarrassed. And I was embarrassed that I spoke highly of the place. I did want to speak to the manager, not about the dinner rush, but again about the delivery. But instead she refused me the manager. When I called to try and get thru that way; the same greeter answered the phone. She asked why I wanted the manager and what I was going to tell “Heather”, and again I was refused to be allowed to even speak to her via phone. I know losing one customer isn’t that huge a deal. But it does suck, it was disappointing, and I won’t ever be back.

4 /5 Jacob Nunnenkamp: I really liked the food. I would recommend the Spanakopita, they were really yummy. This is a pretty upscale restaurant especially for the area. The server was really nice to us. I would recommend dressing well as we felt a little out of place because we didn’t realize it was fancy before we came in.
