Steven Pfeifer The food here is absolutely incredible!! Everything made fresh with the highest attention to detail. Our waitress couldn’t have been better. My wife has a particular intolerance for spice. The waitress and kitchen were more than accommodating for her needs. This place truly is next level with the food and service. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I will definitely be back when I am back in Galveston again.

Pepitos Mexican Restaurante - Canyon

Rating: 4.3 /5
Nick Gerlich When faced with the possibility of eating Asian for the fourth time this week, I remembered that there’s more food in Canyon than just curry and Pad Thai. I know. It’s crazy that in West Texas the Asian establishments could outnumber the Mexican 4-2, but it’s true. And it was also true I wanted…no, needed…something else. So my daughter and I walked from our university offices down the street a little farther to Pepito’s, a place we had not patronized in a while. We were in for a pleasant lunch, the crowd reassuring us that we had indeed chosen wisely. I ordered my typical veggie fajitas, while daughter went with the Cancun, a combo plate which for her featured a beef taco and chicken enchilada. I chose a Negra Modelo as the perfect quaff, something I could not have done the last time I was here. Um…that would be nearly 10 years ago, when Canyon voted itself kind of wet. And we were wowed with our entrees. My fajitas were far more than the usual ones I have had elsewhere, lucky to get some grilled green peppers, onions, and mushrooms on a plate. In addition to those staples, mine featured yellow squash, green squash, red pepper, tomatoes, and grilled corn as well, making for a far more hearty serving. They were good by themselves, but even better in a warm tortilla. Daughter found her lunch to be equally satisfying, the creamy sauce shrouding the enchilada particularly delectable. I didn’t hear a peep out of her, so I know it was good. We’ll be back. I’ll make sure it won’t be so long next time.

S Gordon Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. You really cannot beat the 3 for me deal. Great value and everything came out fresh and hot. There was no host up front when I arrived so it took a moment to get seated, but when someone finally came she was extremely apologetic and very friendly. From that point on the service was excellent. In this area good service can be hit or miss since there are not many options, but Chilis definitely delivered today. Great food, great staff, and overall, a solid experience. I will definitely be back!

Allison The crawfish here is crazy delicious! The right amount of salty, savory, and spicy MMM!! The crawfish are a good size, and the memorial day special 4.99/lb could NOT be beat. Service was super friendly and it was enjoyable to eat on the patio even on a hot day. I will be back soon!

Savora Seafood &Grill - Laredo

Daniel Villegas To begin this dynamic dinning experience we were welcomed with some non traditional tortilla chips, which to me personally were delicious. It carried a mild spice with a tangy touch , I recommend asking for some limes so you can squeeze over the chips, it reminds me of some flaming hots with lime . The salsas that accompanied them were a bit on the spicy side both red and green which to me is perfect but just keep in mind if you don’t like the spicy flavor. We ordered the Pulpo a las Brazas (grilled octopus) and let me tell you that the personal touch the chef puts on this dish is one of a kind. We have tried similar dishes as this one in different establishments but this one takes the number one spot. For our second dish we had Camarones Savora (Savora Style Shrimp) the sauce in which these shrimp are bathed with is a creamy chipotle style (not sure if that’s the correct ingredients ) but my taste buds were awaken and enjoyed every last bit . This dish is accompanied with fries that have a very nice crunch to them and white rice with corn . Let’s not forget the pechuga rellena dish (Stuffed Chicken Breast) the creamy white sauce that the chicken is covered with is so unique, flavorful and mouthwatering that I had to keep taking bites just to savor the moment. To top of our dining experience we had Arroz Culichi (Culichi Style Rice) it was a mixture of fried rice , cream cheese , avocado , crab salad , and shrimp. This is a dish that will be in my forever reorder list when visiting here. The only negative thing that I might take from this dining experience is I felt the food took a little to long to prep and take to table, at that time were were the only people in the establishment. The quality of the food and service did make up for it though , we were overall happy with Savoras Seafood and Grill recommend 10/10. The waitress even recommended another sister restaurant to this one , Savoras Brunch and we will definitely be heading that way soon !

Eric Torres Ordered the Burger with waffle fries, it was very hot and tasty, although the best thing about the place was the customer service, literally the best service Ive experienced in years. I was honestly genuinely surprised from the young lady who took my order, the, who I assume was the manager, checking up on me, to the other young lady receiving my plate once I was done. 5/5 would recommend. A little pricey for a broke college student like me but definitely a once or twice a month lunch break spot for me.
