El gordo This is my favorite place to eat in town, I have never had a bad experience here and they are always friendly. One thing for sure you will NOT leave hungry. Today I had chilaquiles and they did not disappoint, If you havent tried this place, youre missing out.

Monica Robinson Visiting Waco. Walked in Sunday afternoon about 145. Was the only one there and thought.. oh boy. Was warmly greeted and seated and brought the brunch menu. Ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. They brought it out, and I thought to myself, I wonder how this is going to taste. Well it was DELICIOUS. The Mac n cheese itself was very good but the brisket on top was awesome. I mixed it all up and was super full. Got banana pudding to go.

Ethan I thought overall for being a chain restaurant this place was really good. I was a bit hesitant at first but I would highly recommend. The brisket and chicken were moist and full of flavor. The potato salad and cabbage sides were tasty. The Mac and cheese and banana pudding were okay. I really liked thier bbq sauce. I do think their prices are a little pricer than I expected. A 2 meat brisket and chicken plate with 2 sides and a side of banana pudding and a cup for water was about $26.
