Its Just Wings - Gainesville

Rating: 4 /5
Scott Gregory This is for Chilis, Not Just Wings! I used the App to order curbside. I arrived at the time it was estimated to be ready. I received a text just as I was pulling up saying my order was ready. I checked in using the text link. I waited about 10 minutes and checked in in the App. A young lady looked out and saw me sitting outside but didnt come out, so I thought maybe it wasnt ready. After another 10 minutes, I went in and saw my order sitting on a shelf. Im sure it was cold by now. The young lady came up after I was standing there a few minutes and asked if I had a to go order. I told her yes, its right there in the shelf and Ive been waiting 20 plus minutes. She asked if I wanted it remade. I said Yes! She could tell I was very irritated. She took the food back and a manager came out. I explained my situation. He told me they were remaking it. I showed him the two check ins I had done. He then said the system must be malfunctioning. He offered a free dessert for my trouble which I gladly accepted. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The food came out after another 10 minutes. It was warm. The food was good. The molten lava dessert was fabulous. It took a lot longer than planned but everything turned out good.

Taconeta - El Paso

Erica Meza PLEASE OPEN UP A SPOT IN TUCSON!!! I fell in love with Taconeta. The food, the service, the decor, the vibe, everything was amazing. After arriving in Fort Worth, I found this spot on Yelp. I’ll be honest, I was a little hesitant at first because one person said it wasn’t worth the wait. But the good reviews totally won me over, and I’m so happy we decided to go. It had started to rain lightly when we got there, but the line moved quickly, and honestly, I could see why people wait. It’s definitely worth it. The process is super easy. You get in line, check out the menu on the board or grab a physical one, place your order, and then they seat you. If you want more food, the servers walking around are so friendly and attentive, they’ll happily take your order. I tried the suadero, carnitas, and mushroom tacos, and wow, they were all delicious. If I had to choose favorites, the mushroom and carnitas tacos were the winners for me. The elote in a cup was okay, the corn was a little starchy and not as sweet as I like, but the corn on the cob was amazing. Even the music was great. I just wanted to dance and eat tacos all night. If I’m ever in El Paso again, I’m coming back for sure.

Jonathan Gonzalez We went here because it was close by and saw it had some great reviews so we gave it a chance. First of all this place is all location and decently busy so keep that in mind. Also, our server which I cant recall her name was simply amazing. Hospitality was just spot on in general. Now for the food. Amazing just amazing. The Gyro meat was tender and from where I was seated I could see it being cooked which got me more excited and I wanted more. I also tried their marinated chicken kabob and though it was good it just needed more flavor. The desserts as well were very good. It was the first time I tried cheesecake and actually liked it. All in all this place was amazing and if you happen to be in the area definitely check it out you wont be disappointed.

BurgerBurger - Fredericksburg

Larry Ray Reed Flavor: A- Service: B Tea: B Solo dining: A When it’s on the main drag in F’burg, you never know if it’s legit or if they’re kept in business by drunken bachelorette parties ordering Cobb salads. I’m happy to report this place is legit. There are a few burger options on the menu but I will always choose the smash burger when one is offered. Theirs is two beef patties with American cheese, green leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and house sauce on a potato bun. It all comes together very nicely, and while not a burger that blew my socks off, it was simple and really good. It’s flavorful and juicy but maybe just cooked a tad longer than I would like. If you believe life is about the sauce like I do, you’ll appreciate the extra condiments on the side to complement the house sauce. I’ll give it an A- for flavor though I wonder if on a different day they’d be an A. But The Burger Trail review only happens once so burger joints worldwide should always be on their A game. The house-made onion rings and ranch were a dynamite side and the live music on the patio made for an ideal evening. Cheers to Burger Burger for serving up a great smash burger to drunken bachelorettes and burger lovers alike! #theburgertrail #texasburgers

Grotto Downtown - Houston

Kent Redding Had a super good evening at Grotto. Very convenient to Marriott and Convention Center. Excellent food and short ribs were literally the best I have ever had. Mussels were very good in tomato sauce and meatball small plates were perfect size. Our wait staff Keisha was fantastic and truly made the evening 5 star.
