What Clients Are Saying Hamaru Ramen and Handroll (GG)
5 /5 Jessica Stawicki: Fun place to come enjoy Japanese sushi and cuisine. We had a great customer service and they were very prompt with our order. It is very loud and exciting atmosphere. It’s a bit more for kids 6 and up in my opinion but regardless it was delicious to dine in. Also everything was fresh and prepared properly for us to eat.
5 /5 Nelda Ieremia: First time ordering and did not disappoint. I had the karage, and very similar to a spot in Hawai’i. Love it! Ordered for the 2nd time today, bulgogi plate. Delicious. Just wish it was a bit spicy but other than that it was delicious!
5 /5 V Mcc: Love coming here! The atmosphere is very welcoming and cultured. The food is always amazing and good quality. Tayah is swift with her service everytime, and always has a smile on her face. She is also knowledgeable and can help you with any questions you may have. The chicken karaage is my favorite dish here. Always very crispy, flavorful, and delicious. Great portion for the price!
2 /5 Yen Chandler: This was our first time at Hamaru, and it was a 2 for me. The food wasnt bad, but it was nothing special and pretty mediocre. We got the miso ramen and shoyu ramen. The shoyu one tasted like what you could get from an instant ramen package from HEB. However, the drinks were pretty good. We got a yuzu lemonade and mango jam with jasmine green tea (not pictured).
Ankita Lodh We went in with moderate expectations since this was right across from Pleasure Pier. But we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Most popular choices here are fried, but we went with lighter options. The caesar salad with salmon was a wonderful, fresh entree. The dressing was so nice and garlicky, and the salmon was cooked perfectly! The salmon was on the soft side and seasoned generously. The shrimp cocktail was also very good. We sat upstairs in the covered patio, and we got a nice view of the ocean.
Paul Diffenderfer Enjoyed a great lunch with family. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. Lots of interesting pictures, posters, and other military artifacts all over the walls.
We also visited their Huntsville location for breakfast and had a great experience there, too!
Heather Marie Charles Fun place to be outdoors, try new wines and beers in the comfort of some live music. Kid friendly, no dogs, lots of outdoor games, play area for kids and tons of seating. The Margheritaville pizza was enjoyable with the cauliflower crust! :P
