Erik Juarez Service was excellent and the food was delicious. The wait wasn’t long at all, and the establishment was very clean. There were plenty of salsas and condiments available, and everything we ordered tasted great. I highly recommend trying the sopapillas and the combo fajitas — perfect for larger families. Great experience overall! You order at the counter, then take a seat, get your drinks, and wait until your number is called to pick up your order next to the soda fountain.

Myriah Hatch Simple and Delicious donated a pan of macaroni and cheese to our reunion this past summer, and I am so thankful! The owner was kind and pleasant to speak with. I recommend this establishment.

Liz Sus We are from Weslaco, Tx. We visited a state park earlier and for lunch we looked up BBQ places and decided on Chisholm Trail Smokehouse. A decision that we wouldnt regret. We ordered the Brisket Nachos, Brisket Sandwich, Smoked Elote, Smoked Jalapeño Popper, Mac N Cheese, and the Smoked Cheese steak . Our daughter is very picky and I was surprised she gave her Smoked Cheese Steak and Mac n cheese a 9/10✅ . My husband said his brisket sandwich was really good and so was the potato salad; he rated his meal a 8/10✅. I really loved the brisket nachos. I give them a 10/10✅....their chips, brisket, toppings; it all was delicious. The elote had a savory flavor. The filling to the Jalapeño Popper was on point. The cherry on top was our waitress Alexandria. She was very attentive with us, great customer service. Overall we had an amazing experience.

David Webster Dont blink, youll miss is. Small building that doesnt stand out from the road but sparkles like a gem when you get your food. Group of 11 was seated quick and got outstanding service. Angies (our waitress) personality and work ethic are worth the stop. Menu options are just what you want from a place like this. My Bison burger was fresh, juicy, and tasty. Everyone in the group was highly satisfied with their meal and raved about the quality. I will make this a stop when passing through town and so should you.
