Tate Vinson Neely’s Burrito Bar 05-31-24 Had lunch with family! Service was good. Not too busy. It’s almost hard for me to order because of so many choices! Friendly atmosphere I had Beef & Chicken with Peppers and Onions with Avocado Ranch and Queso! They were so good. One of my grandsons had the Burrito Basket with Beef and Chicken and all the trimmings! It came with tortilla chips. The other grandson had The Burrito Basket with Brisket and Pulled Pork and all the trimmings! It came with Tortilla Chips. All the food was served fresh and hot! We also tried the Spicy Asian Wings. They had just enough spice and were meaty. I will get them again.

Zineb Mahboub I recently visited The Jay Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by the warm and inviting atmosphere, friendly service, and — most importantly — the food. (They serve Halal Chicken) I ordered the chicken noodle soup, and it truly hit the spot. The broth was rich and flavorful without being overly salty, and it had just the right balance of herbs. The noodles were perfectly cooked — not too soft — and the chicken was tender and generously portioned. You could tell it was made fresh and with care, like a comforting homemade meal. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and everything was served promptly. It’s rare to find a place that gets the simple things so right, and this soup was a perfect example of that. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy meal that’s both satisfying and made with quality ingredients. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Donna Henry Ate here several years ago when it first opened and really liked it but for some reason hadn’t been back until going with a friend last night and it was fabulous! Everything was fresh, delicious and artfully prepared. I ordered the Yamamori and Pink Lady rolls and my friend ordered the sushi/sashimi for 1 (which as you can see is huge). Nathan was our server/bartender and he provided excellent, friendly service and my margaritas were perfectly made. Overall great experience and will definitely be a more regular customer now!

Mitzi Stolarski Can you really get amazing Gluten Free Vietnamese food in Waco, TX? Yes, you can at Clay Pot! We started our meal with Gluten Free Pork Fried Egg Rolls. They were so delicious we had to order another serving!!! For our entrees, we selected Pineapple Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Bun Xoa. All were delicious!!! So if you are in Waco for a weekend getaway or are a local, make the trip to Clay Pot in Downtown Waco. You will be glad you did!!!!
