4 /5 Gabz: My husband and I had a pleasant experience here at Keepers. The star of the visit was the sushi. I especially loved all the salmon nigiri. The taste and texture were on point. I could tell that the fish was fresh. On some of the pieces, I did wish there was a little more rice as the fish overwhelmed the ratio of rice, but that’s just my preference. The appetizers were okay! I appreciated the agedashi tofu. It was hot and crispy. I do wish the sauce came separately as it does make the bottom pieces so soggy, but again, a personal preference. I was a tad disappointed in the karaage. To me, this was not karaage. It tasted more like a chicken tender. It wasn’t bad, but the batter and seasoning of the chicken didn’t remind me of karaage. Service was fine. No one was rude, but it didn’t feel personable. I get it, it’s busy. The best way to describe it was the job got done. Overall, I would go again and I do encourage a try as the sushi does carry this place!

5 /5 Harvey Hilton: I’ve driven past Keepers Japanese Restaurant more times than I can count, and I’m honestly kicking myself for not stopping sooner. This was my first time dining in, a solo experience, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. I tried a few different rolls, but the Yellow Spicy Tail Roll stole the entire show. Hands down the best roll I’ve had in a long time fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every bite hit exactly the way it should. Service was smooth, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food quality speaks for itself. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’m bringing company. Highly recommend!

4 /5 Bryan Stanley: This is a fantastic, no frills Sushi restaurant with tasty food at very reasonable prices. Whilst the restaurant does not boast creative dishes, they do focus on fresh, thick cuts and well prepared fish. The restaurant ranks lower in the scale for uncomfortably cold indoor temperature and a very loud atmosphere. But it’s offset by a relatively quick service and affordable food. On this particular visit I tried the lamb chops which were surprisingly delicious. Sashimi, Nigiri, Cucumber Salad and Miso Soup were also delicious and recommended.

3 /5 Hayley F: Came here on a Sunday for lunch with my family. We were promptly seated and our server was friendly and nice. We started with agedashi tofu, and fried calamari and crawfish. The agedashi tofu was ok, but the other appetizer was not good. Our mains were bento box, katsu curry rice, and pork cutlet with rice. The bento box was plenty, but the salmon teriyaki was dry, and the cooked tuna that came in the bento box tasted weird. The katsu curry was watery and lacked flavor. The pork cutlet didn’t have the crunch as expected for meat with crispy layer. We also had salmon nigiri, salmon sashimi, spider roll, and crunchy eel roll. Though the sashimi sliced were pretty thick, the quality of the sashimi was low. The spider roll and crunchy eel roll weren’t tasty. The restaurant offers Happy Hour all day, everyday for certain food items. The Lunch Specials are available everyday from 11:30am to 3pm too. There are indoor and outdoor dining options. There is plenty of free parking spaces.

3 /5 Samantha Ramos: I used to come to Keepers back in 2010 and the service has gone all the way down hill. I came in as a party of 1, and instead of being greeted with a hello or welcome to keepers the hostess and waiter immediately said oh you dont want her? I proceeded to ask for a booth and asked not to be sat next to a family since I was alone and didnt want to sit next to small children, I asked the hostess not to sit me next to them because I was expecting a phone call where she walked off while I was talking to her, mid sentence turned her back to me and walked off. I then sat and ordered a drink and asked for recommendations. She seemed annoyed and everything she recommended was over $20 price was not an issue but she seemed bothered by me asking for a recommendation. Drinks and good were outstanding! Definitely had not gone down in quality. I shouldve sat at the bar where the chefs were super friendly and made me feel more comfortable than the rude greeting I received. Food was excellent hostess was extremely unprofessional and kind of hurt my feelings waitress was forced she seemed annoyed by everything I asked. I will return for the daytime staff to see if they are any better because the night staff was awful.
