Paradise Key Dockside Bar & Grill - (Near Rockport, TX)

3 /5 Troy Hale: Its been a few years since I was here last. I thought I remembered it being better. We were going to get the crab cake appetizer until we going out it is ONLY 1. So we went for the dip and it was not appetizing at all and was really dry. The fried shrimp had a strange batter to it and was not tasty. The crab legs were over cooked and my girls had to dig the meat out instead of just sliding out like they normally do. Maybe they have other menu items that are better.

5 /5 Marie Mulligan: Mariela, our server was great! She was so polite and handled our party of 10 amazingly! Especially since we all had separate checks also. She is super nice! And took great care of all of us and made sure we had what we needed! Kudos to her! Hope she gets a raise lol! We absolutely love the food too! And she didnt mind all of us sharing an ultimate brownie sundae! She brought plenty of spoons and served with a smile! We were all stuffed but needed to indulge! We love going to Paradise keys! Update, but still a 5 star rating, went to another dinner, it was a dinner held for a Christmas dinner provided by our employer and our family came with us. It was pleasant, as always but the two waitresses seemed overwhelmed. I guess this was because of the holiday. Food came out cold, orders were incorrect, shrimp that was supposed to be grilled was blackened, appetizers didnt come, they ended up coming with the meal after inquiring about them, Mac and cheese was stone cold. First time we have been disappointed. And lastly I brought home my shrimp Alfredo and warmed it up the next day and it was spoiled.

4 /5 daisy gonzalez: Everything we got from the appetizers (calamari and oysters) to the main dish were good. Fish=good, pasta=good, automatic burger= big and juicy, chicken burger= huge and packed with flavor. In-door and out-door dining. My only complaint is that they took over 45 minutes to bring out our food.

2 /5 Elad Etagelppa: If you want good fresh seafood, do not go to Paradise Key Dockside & Grill. The crab tower is just a hot mess. Black avacado throughout the dish, crab was less than an ice cream scoop in total, flavor is like it has been in the refrigerator for a long time. No fresh oysters on the half shell, maybe mañana. They couldn’t make a frozen margarita that was not 90% melted by the time it was severed, twice. The only redeeming part of our food was the fried shrimp which had a nice light batter. Had such high hopes after reading the reviews, now we know.

5 /5 Analisa Trujillo: My husband and I Went on a Friday night around 8, so we weren’t expecting anything great or even fresh food. Our waitress was very sweet (didn’t get her name) but she recommended the Shiner holiday beer which was delicious! I ordered Pagona fish and chips and chose a side salad as a side. I mean it when I say this, it was the BEST fish and chips I’ve ever eaten and I’ve been to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Warf -My husband got mahi mahi fish tacos and those were delicious as well. We sat outside on the dock, it was mostly empty. It was such a relaxing atmosphere. It’s our first time here in Rockport and I wish I could go back everyday to enjoy this food again.
