Joseph Brinda This place was an awesome experience...the food was awesome....the portions were gargantuan....the ambiance was relaxed and friendly....our waitress was Erika and she was fantastic....we will be back again! If you are traveling through Amarillo.....get off the main drag and visit this place...like them on Facebook and just go!....but make sure you have reservations in advance....its two miles off the pavement and well worth it! Charles, thanks for everything...wish we had more time to chat but youre a busy man!

Jennifer Simpson Got the fried chicken sandwich, chips, a sweet tea, and a lemon bar. Chicken sandwich was great. On par with a certain chicken place. Lemon bar wasnt overwhelmingly sweet like some. Very refreshing. Will definitely go back.

The moment we arrived, we were greeted with one of the friendliest and most welcoming atmospheres we’ve ever experienced. The Break of Day Breakfast Shop not only serves amazing food, but their hospitality truly makes the visit memorable. If you ever find yourself on Highway 59 in this area, do yourself a favor and stop by. It’s the very definition of home-style cooking with genuine Texas Southern hospitality.

She She “pharm_scs” Very good food!!! Why hit up fast food when you can eat something made from the heart by a proud small business owner! This food truck is definitely worth the stop! You might need Google translate, but it is worth it! I promise!

lizeth becerra We had gone to the one in McAllem a few years ago, we didn’t go back and were disappointed. Today January 1, as we are heading back to McAllen and are charging our Tesla, we decided to come inside and eat. My young girls loved it- cub pancake and chicken tenders, fresh fruit. Husband and I had pot roast - yummy! Also the service was great , our server Anayeli was very welcoming and helpful . Toddler needed to use the restroom (as usual lol) for a mom who hates to go to public restrooms , the restroom was very clean. Definitely giving this restaurant in Harlingen a 5 star. It gave me a vibe of what Cracker Barrel used to be, clean, fresh home made meals , and not chaotic .
