4 /5 Martina Hagler: Brunch at Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar was an absolute win. I went with a girlfriend for a relaxing brunch, and everything, from the food to the vibe, delivered. I ordered the steak hash, and wow. Perfectly cooked, tender steak, rich flavors, and a beautifully runny egg that tied everything together. My friend had the shrimp and grits, and it was just as impressive, creamy grits, seasoned shrimp. Cocktails and Mocktails were also good. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, ideal for lingering conversation, and catching up over great food. Service was attentive without hovering, which always feels like a small miracle during brunch hours. If you’re looking for a place that does brunch well, this is it. We’ll absolutely be back,nprobably sooner than planned.

3 /5 Troy Corn: This was my first time, and maybe my last. This is the type of place that reminds us that not everyone likes every restaurant. This place has its pros and cons. The food, a hot honey chicken sandwich, was very good. The whiskey cake was eh... Just eh, if you like toffee youll like the dessert, if you dont you wont. I didnt. We went Christmas Eve during happy hour and it wasnt that crowded, but the service was a bit slow. And one last thing, dont sit at the high top tables on the front side of the restaurant. There is a bench on the window side that has a metal bar for a back, and its uncomfortable, even with pillows they provide. Its a poor design. The bar area is really cool and looks like fun. The atmosphere is fun and entertaining, the staff had on ugly Christmas sweaters for a light mood. Have fun and remember, this is just one guys opinion.

The whole experience was top-notch, starting with the outstanding service from our server Sebastian. He was super attentive without hovering, and his knowledge of the beverages and dining menu is seriously impressive. We were a group of four, and he helped us navigate the options effortlessly, suggesting pairings that hit every mark. No generic advice here—he dove into details about the whiskeys, explaining tasting notes and how theyd complement the dishes, which made the whole meal feel customized.Their whiskey selection is expansive and exciting, easily one of the best Ive seen in the area. Shelves packed with everything from Scotch to American rye, and they even have some limited editions that caught my eye. Sebastian guided us to a couple we wouldnt have picked on our own, and they were fantastic—smooth, complex, and perfect for sipping slowly. It added so much to the evening, turning a regular dinner into something special.The food was the star, though. That pork chop is incredible—huge portion, tender meat with a crispy edge, and a sauce that brings out all the savory flavors without overwhelming. It came with great sides like garlic green beans and herb potatoes that kept everything balanced and satisfying. We shared a few apps too, like the deviled eggs and brisket bites, which were solid starters to get the appetite going.For dessert, we split the whiskey cake with Honey Badger ice cream, and it was pure bliss. The cake has this rich, boozy depth thats not too sweet, and the ice cream adds a creamy, spicy honey element that ties it all together in the best way. Its indulgent but not heavy, and we polished it off in no time. 5 /5 B C: One of my favorite places to eat, no matter what city I’m in, however, I’ve been to this location twice and I cannot recommend it enough. Friendly and accommodating staff, wonderful food and drinks and sultry atmosphere make it such a wonderful place to gather with friends or a date night. We came in pretty late this time, about 45 minutes before close. I ordered my favorite, the Winchester, and my husband ordered his favorite, the Smoked Ol Fashion which were both made perfectly. We also ordered 2 candied bacon and the goat cheese fondue and it was just what the doctor ordered. We haven’t had anything we were not impressed with but the candied bacon and goat cheese fondue are always a hit for us. Thank you guys for always providing the best customer service and yummys!!
