MOROSO Italian Ristorante - Waco

Hesper Cordero Morosos is a family favorite. We love their Neapolitan pizzas!! My husband always gets a meatball appetizer and bread. I had a raspberry martini and it was delicious. Their fettuccine is excellent and my son just tried their shrimp scampi linguine and he said it was a new favorite.

Lubys - Baytown

Casa de Salazar We were visiting a family member at the hospital, so we walked across the street to Lubys for lunch. Its been a while since Ive visited any of these, but I knew they would have a large selection to choose from. I had the turkey leg with gravy, and Sherry Ann had the salmon. I also had some fried chicken, and I know thats a lot of food, but I was pretty hungry. I got the beans and cabbage as my sides, along with a jalapeno corn bread muffin and a pistachio pudding. The chicken was by far the best thing. Im so glad I decided to go big and add this to my meal. The turkey leg was a bit cold, and Im sure they would have warmed it up for me, but I was too hungry to care. I ate everything I had ordered. Sherry said her salmon was dry and ate half of it, I ate the rest and it was a bit overcooked but thats only because when I cook this at home I cook it to medium, or medium well. If it was on a salad or with sauce, it would have been fine. I know that this kind of place is trying to make sure that all the food is cooked completely through, so its not a surprise to me. I thought all the food was great, the service was spot on, and I would go back to this location again. The choices all looked great from the line, I could have gone so many different ways with my food choices, and thats why I decided to leave a review. That fried chicken though, was great, and Im a fan of good fried chicken.

Michelle S. SPICY TUNA CRISPY RICE… that’s all I have to say about this place. If I had to recommend only one, it would be just that. Everything about it is perfection, but the only thing I would say is it can have tad more spice to it. Regardless, I would literally come here just to get a couple orders of it. My husband has tried out their rolls, and he enjoys them. I’ve only ever ordered the Chirashi and everything tastes fresh and I love the variety of the pieces of fish. Everyone is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. This has become our go to sushi spot whenever we are in town!

Rosalie Italian Soul - Houston

Rating: 4.1 /5
Corey Nicholas Collins Great lasagna, cocktails and scenery Came to the Rosalie for an anniversary dinner, which was recommended as it is conveniently located in the C. Baldwin hotel. Not only was the food delicious but the service from Tannis was great as well. We started with the garlic bread, which was very flavorful with a delicious marinara. Main entrée was the lasagna and salmon dish, which were both delightful but delicate. as far as ambience, the Rosalie has multiple different seating venues, which make it a great place depend on what kind of vibe you want. Not only was this place of surprise, it will be a new go to. Will be back to devour more of the menu….

Yoona Julia Jeong We truly enjoyed the food, attentive service, and lovely ambiance. Our family gathering—celebrating our niece’s birthday and my brother’s wedding anniversary—was absolutely perfect. Thank you for making the evening so special!
