Marissa Crumrine Yum!! We ordered the street tacos (pastor, chicken, and beef) and all were delicious, though the beef might have been my favorite. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. We also got a side of rice and beans, and both were super yummy! Between the four street tacos, chips and salsa, and the rice and beans, it was the perfect amount of food to share between two people, and we both left feeling full and happy. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We went around 2:30, and our food came out within minutes. The atmosphere and decor are really cute, too. Such a great place to stop if you’re in town. Highly recommend!

Angeline Ooi The food was delicious and very authentic. As Chinese diners, we were really happy with the flavors and quality — everything tasted just right and well prepared. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real Chinese food. We will definitely come back!

Adam Poole Took my son here while on a weekend trip to Boerne and we were not disappointed! Met Travis the owner, operator, and chef and he was incredibly kind, personable, and grateful for our support. The pizzas didn’t disappoint! They’re a classic thinner style pie with a great crust. Sauce was great, the cook on the crust was fantastic, and the toppings didn’t disappoint. I love that he grates legit Parmesan over the pies by request. Really good food, and the sizes were perfect for sharing. The truck is behind Free Roam Brewery, which was also great. I’d highly recommend heading out there on an afternoon or evening with family and friends, grabbing some drinks, and enjoying some quality pizza. All in all I had a great evening with my son, enjoyed a delicious beer and some excellent pizza. Thanks for a wonderful night!

dani Zuniga A hidden gem that deserves to be visited over and over again! Our experience was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived. We went to celebrate my birthday, and I was so touched by the surprise — they brought out a slice of cake with candles and sang Happy Birthday to me! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the day even more special. Our server, Obed, was outstanding — friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. His service truly made a difference. And the bartender? Just wow! He made us a carajillo right at our table with a fiery show that was both delicious and impressive. We went on a Sunday for the brunch buffet and were blown away. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Chef Josue Padilla (Josh) even came out to greet the guests — such a thoughtful touch that shows how much he cares. His recipes are simply exquisite. The prime rib was cooked to perfection — juicy and well-seasoned. The made-to-order Florentine crepes were soft, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. And the desserts? Out of this world! From the flan with Licor 43 to the homemade lemon cheesecakes, everything tasted like it was made with love. The patio has such a charming and cozy vibe — it reminded us of grandma’s backyard, the kind of place where you just want to sit and spend the afternoon. The only downside is that they close at 3 p.m. on Sundays, but we’ll definitely be back on a day when they’re open later. Can’t wait to return!

Nicole Green 2nd time here. Went in just before 11AM. Busy but not crowded. Food was delicious and prepared in a timely manner. Quaint little place, lots of coffee type drinks, pastries and a regular menu for breakfast/ lunch.

Tanya Lechner 5 stars for the prices and drinks! Super affordable tex Mex with their lunch specials, green enchiladas are good and gorditas were ok. The margaritas however made up for the ok food (very strong)!

Snyder Gard “CampingCoastie.com” Fritzes BBQ and Catering nailed the BBQ vibe – just what youd hope for. Fast, friendly service kept things moving. Now, lets talk about that brisket – flavor-packed and cooked to perfection, a true BBQ triumph. The smoked tenderloin? Juicy and downright delicious. Props to the creamed corn and generous-sized cucumber salad. And those home fried potatoes? A crispy delight. Fritzes knows how to deliver a BBQ experience that hits all the right notes.

Kilar Walter (キラー ウォルター) La Four’s reminds me of Acadiana Cafe in San Antonio. The food is very good. The shrimp and crawfish etouffe is my favorite. The crab cakes are amazing.

Wendi the Wanderer We visited Compadres Hill Country Cocina in Boerne that was an authentic and patriotic experience with great food. I tried the George Strait tacos, that were named after the country music legend after his visit to the restaurant, and my husband had the 3-pack birria tacos. The restaurant was busy but our food came out fast and fresh. During our visit, we saw multiple military members, law enforcement, and veterans come for lunch—many giving the chef and owner, a two time Iraq veteran, a big hug. This restaurant gets it right, not just with the food, but with the remarkable support to veterans, Purple Heart recipients, and Gold Star families.

Lance Mayfield Tucked away in the heart of Beorne, 259 Brantleys Bistro & Bar is the kind of place you hope to find when you’re looking for a genuine good time. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between a relaxed neighborhood bar and a vibrant spot for a night out. The drinks here are truly terrific. The bar staff clearly knows their craft, whether they’re mixing a margarita or serving up a perfectly made pecan old fashioned. The menu offers a solid and satisfying selection, with something to please every palate. We found ourselves trying a few different cocktails throughout the evening and each one was expertly made and refreshing. What really makes the experience stand out, however, is the service. The entire team, from the hosts to the servers, is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They manage to be efficient and prompt without ever making you feel rushed, creating a welcoming environment that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. And staying a while is highly recommended, especially when the live bands take the stage. The entertainment schedule is a major draw, and for good reason. The bands we heard were very entertaining, offering a great mix of covers and original tunes that had the whole room energized. The sound level is well-managed, allowing for conversation at your table while still letting you enjoy the music. 259 Brantleys is the full package: great drinks, wonderful service, and fantastic live music. It’s an excellent choice for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or a weekend date. This is a standout establishment in Beorne and has easily become a new favorite.

Mario Guzman I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Richter. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, leaving us truly impressed. The attentiveness and care of the staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And lets talk about the food – it was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was a burst of flavors that delighted our taste buds and left us wanting more. The ambiance added to the charm of the place, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Its safe to say that Richter has left a lasting impression on us. Were genuinely excited about the prospect of making it our new local spot for dining and drinks. Judy Peterson We ordered the. Salmon bites, fried cauliflower, Cobb salad, Fried shrimp plate and stuffed flounder. The food was served hot and very tasty. Even my asparagus spears were just like I like them, slightly crunchy. Service was great. My only negative is that the metal chair seats are uncomfortable for people who don’t have much natural padding!! Will definitely return.

Tom Brimer Excellent hamburgers, skinny fries, and milk shakes. My wife and I really enjoyed this hamburger joint. We plan to try several of the other menu items soon.

M B Update Aug 2025: Casa Amaya continues to please. Service, food, atmosphere all doing well. This time a party of 3x on a Sunday for lunch. About 1/4 full. No issues. Original post: Been here several times now since they opened. Excellent offering of Salvadoran food. The owner and his wife are usually there to greet you and the staff is friendly. Pupusas and Tortas are our favorites, but weve had other excellent food too.
