5 /5 Quinnith Acacia (Squid): the manager on shift when my partner and i dined in was Frank, and let me tell you, amazing person! his costumer service was amazing! his laugh is very infectious and we felt like we were really being taken care of. its been a while sense i really felt welcomed at a food joint. im really glad we picked to go in tonight! thank you Frank for making our dinner experience that much more exciting!

2 /5 Miles Freist: I went with my mom yesterday for lunch. We were seated immediately, no wait, and our area was empty except for two tables who already had food. Our waitress took 10 minutes to show up, and only dropped by once to refill a water we didnt need refilled to begin with. She was quiet but not rude, just not hospitable. Another waitress from across the room heard me asking, I wonder where our waitress is, and she gave me a horrible stank eye, and she wasnt even our waitress turns out. Then a couple tables over, a different waitress, also not ours, was loudly telling a group of people that they better tip well, and I couldnt tell if she personally knew them or not, so I felt like loudly joking like that is pretty unprofessional and doesnt set a good atmosphere or vibe for a place because other patrons dont know if staff know someone personally or not. The food tasted good, but made both my mom and I sick not long afterwards. Weve ate at Applebees before in different locations and Ive had the exact meal I had yesterday at other times and Applebees locations and have never gotten as sick as I did. Just not a very good experience at all.

2 /5 GH: We ordered a large to go order. Everything came as ordered and on time which was awesome. My ONLY complaint was the steak.. I have never eaten a steak that turns to paste when I put it in my mouth. It was literally inedible. It was not fat, I was able to make a paste on my fingers with the steak. Not only was it expensive but what actually was it?! Everything else- on point. Bioengineered meat- not on point.

5 /5 Mojo Jojo: Lakewood location! Happy Hour, 3 to 6 and again 9 to Midnight! Went for TNF. Had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Schrimp, was delicious! Staff and service was attentive, quick and friendly!

3 /5 Allan Bogh: While not a terrible experience, Applebees lacks the style that it once had. I had visited the previous week and ordered a bourbon street steak. The first thing I did was laugh at the portion size. It was as far from the picture in the menu as you could get. It came with a grand total of 2 and 1/2 mushroom slices from the runt of the litter. The waitress was nice about getting more. The next time I went I ordered an Old Fashioned for a drink as my bar comparator. It took ages to be delivered by the waiter this time. The drink was one of the worst Ive had, one of the bottom 3 Old Fashions. It was bottom-barrel alcohol and had a weird flavor to it that made it almost undrinkable. It was so watered down with crushed ice (not a single cube like the recipe wants), that by the end I was drinking badly flavored water. Keeping with the theme, I ordered a bourbon street mushroom Swiss. The burger was better than the previous steak, as it came with more than one mushroom. The fries were also decent. The price for 2 burgers and fries with a single bar drink came out to $80+. A bit outrageous for what you get.
