El Kiosko - (Near Oak Harbor, WA)

Jeffrey W. Cheney Chops has an Asian fusion vibe, its a smaller restaurant with BIG taste and generous portions. Friendly staff and its packed with people on a Saturday nite. We ordered among other delicious items, the Bulgogi Burrito. I highly recommend it! It will change your life. It is large and packs a big flavor puch; crafted with Korean-style marinated beef, rice, fresh vegetables, and an amazing creamy spicy sauce. So satisfying. We also had questions about the menu but noticed only a kiosk to order food. Just walk past the self-checkout and there’s a counter where you can place an order and speak with an friendly employee.

Lorrie Love this place!! Ive been enjoying meals here since moving here in 2021. My server, Minnette was amazing. She was pleasant, attentive and knew a lot about the various options on the menu. If youre in the area or looking for a reason to visit, please consider giving the Hills a chance!!p

Ryan LaPlante Its decent sushi, they have some unique rolls like the Hawaiian roll with pineapple and peanuts inside and mango cocoon top. The deep fried roll was very good. My friends chicken and noodle dish looked really good and the portions was large.

Alana Sheeren We stopped here for lunch on our way back to California from Canada. I saw online that a large portion of the menu was available gluten-free and wanted to try it. We walked in at 12:09 (it opens at noon) and there were already four tables seated and two groups in line at the counter ahead of us. I took that as a good sign! The restaurant itself was very cute - open, spacious and inviting with lots of art on the walls. We ordered and sat at a table in the front by the window. About ten minutes later my husband went to wash his hands, and when he came back he said it was weird, no one was in the kitchen cooking but our food hadn’t come out yet. Finally after waiting 30 minutes, he went up to the counter to ask. The family that ordered just ahead of us hasn’t gotten their food either. I guess the kitchen printer broke and the kitchen never got our orders. They apologized and offered to either return our money or make our food quickly. The family had two young kids and got their money back (they looked so disappointed). We waited for our food and I’m so glad we did. It was DELICIOUS. The portions were large and everything tasted fresh. I had the cauliflower tacos with a side salad and my husband had chimichurri steak tacos with fries. He always asks for his fries extra crispy and they almost never come out that way but Brandywine got it exactly right. The person who took our order was very apologetic, brought us complimentary dipping sauces for the fries and offered us a free dessert if we wanted one. He agreed that the mistake shouldn’t have happened (which it shouldn’t - someone should have noticed the two tables sitting there with no food and no tickets in the kitchen). Unfortunately their desserts are prepackaged and none were gluten-free, which seemed odd to me when their website proudly claims their focus on GF food. (Not that we needed the sugar.) I would definitely recommend the food and it’s such a great space. Just check in if your food isn’t out quickly!

Timothy Koch We happened upon this spot while waiting for a show nearby. Pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. We had the chicken Marsala and the gnocchi in a gorgonzola sauce. Absolutely delicious. They need to sell that gorgonzola sauce by the bucket because I would bathe in it. The four course dinner option is very much worth the $30-ish per person. We are definitely returning.

Quinnith Acacia (Squid) the manager on shift when my partner and i dined in was Frank, and let me tell you, amazing person! his costumer service was amazing! his laugh is very infectious and we felt like we were really being taken care of. its been a while sense i really felt welcomed at a food joint. im really glad we picked to go in tonight! thank you Frank for making our dinner experience that much more exciting!
