Rose Sitton From the moment we stepped into Bruces Place, it was clear that the service was going to be a highlight of the evening. We were welcomed upon entering and met with smiles from all the staff. Our server, Rachel, was attentive without being intrusive. They had an in-depth knowledge of the menu and made several thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. The pacing of the meal was perfect—each course arrived at just the right time, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. She is by far the most amazing server I have ever had the pleasure to be served by not just in Ellensburg but everywhere. She was amazing and made the evening dinner great. I was so impressed by the attention to detail I raved about it to my mother and took her the next chance possible and the service was top tier as well! What truly stood out was the personalized touch in every interaction and the to go boxes had the name of the food we ordered, date, and a note from Rachel and Bruces place as a whole. The service wasn’t just efficient—it was genuinely warm and welcoming, and that made the entire experience so much more memorable. It’s rare to find a restaurant where service feels so seamlessly integrated into the dining experience. I left feeling not only satisfied with the meal but genuinely appreciative of the outstanding service. If youre looking for a place this is by far one of my most favorite places in town.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the owner treats every guest with incredible kindness and attention — you can really feel the passion behind everything they do. The menu is absolutely perfect — every dish is authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their wine selection is also outstanding, carefully chosen to complement each meal. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience you’ll want to repeat again and again. Highly recommended!

Julie Ames Chens is by far the best Chinese food around! My husband and I drive over an hour to eat dinner here, often. The atmosphere isnt great and the service, depending on the waitress, is either really good or really bad. But all can be overlooked for the amazing food, which is the best Chinese youll find from Ocean Shores to Aberdeen to Westport to Long Beach. If youre in the area and you like Chinese, Chens is a must stop!

Chris T. Incredibly delicious! The fusion flavor was powerful and not overwhelming, balanced but still knocked over the taste buds. If I were less macho I might have cried a little at the disappearance of the last bacon wrapped shrimp. Our host, Josue is the friendliest ever to have met. The experience overall was pleasant and enjoyable. What would have made it better is if angels from heaven had shared the chocolate brownie with us, but they chose to sit at their own table.
