cava

CAVA - Irvine

Rating: 4.5 /5
Michelle Cho I have told many friends that Cava is superior to Chipotle in many ways. The assortment and freshness of the ingredients consistently inspires me to eat healthier and in a more colorful manner. I truly want to meal prep in a way that would allow me to stimulate a Cava bowl. It is a bucket list item of mine to do. The first time I had gone to Cava I loved how you could get unique flavors from mixing the different beverages they offer. You can put together a fun concoction. Inside there’s a good amount of seating, and plenty more outside that is unique to the Woodbury Town Center plaza. Grateful for the people who make this place happen.

Five Eleven - Eureka

Rating: 4.5 /5
eric williams What a night! On vacation in Eureka, we asked a local at the dog park for a dining recommendation. Our server was Jake, and he performed quite well. Old Town Eureka was prepped for the Christmas walk, parking was free, and it was unseasonably warm. Polenta crostini. Arancini stuffed with butternut squash risotto. Brussels sprouts. Wood-fired hen with fingerling potatoes. Grilled steelhead with lobster risotto. Chocolate torte with s’mores topping. My lady enjoyed the prosecco, and I the Lagunitas IPN/A.

Pyrenees Cafe - Bakersfield

Joe Gomez Came to try the French dip sandwich. Sandwich was so tasty and the broth was tasty as well. Fries were good although they were a bit soggy by the time I got home but that was on me not the place as I live a distance away. Was also pleased to find out they served Mr. Pibb one of my favorite sodas and getting harder and harder to find. Services was great with friendly and helpful staff and place had a nice chill vibes.

The Rustik Fork - Riverside

Rating: 4.5 /5
Lupe Grivas Rustic Fork has that true farm-to-table, organic feel, and you can taste the freshness in the food. I tried both the burger and the steak, and they were excellent—juicy, flavorful, and really well done. The veggies were fresh and definitely stood out. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were delicious, though I would’ve loved them just a bit crispier. The mac & cheese was the only dish that didn’t wow me—it was okay, but I think the organic approach changes the flavor from the classic comfort style people expect. The alcoholic beverages were decent, nothing too memorable, but they fit the rustic vibe. Overall, if you’re looking for a place that serves fresh, organic, farm-to-table meals, Rustic Fork is definitely worth visiting. One tip: if you’re planning to come with a large group, make sure to call ahead so they can accommodate.

My Burma - Davis

Rating: 4.5 /5
Donna LaVanture I’ve never had Burmese food before and this was a wonderful introduction! We loved the garlic broccoli, garlic noodles, and the pumpkin curry especially! The Burmese tofu was so unique and I loved the texture.

Kansai Concord - Concord

Melicha Chavez This spot was introduced to me by a friend. I recommend trying the Wendy roll, California roll, miso soup, any sashimi or nigiri and sea weed salad . These are what I have tried so far . The service here is outstanding!! Good environment when dining in or picking up.
