Harvey Mains A fun restaurant in this historic setting. I had the well reviewed nachos and a sarsaparilla. The nachos were a whole meal. Well worth a visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will return.

Farshid K Thank you Sina, the owner of Shekamoo Grill, for contacting me to set the record straight regarding the protein portion sizes. The Hanger Steak BOWL has 4 oz of beef and the Hanger Steak PLATE has 5.3 oz of beef. The additional $6 you pay to upsize from the bowl to the plate is definitely worth it. Especially, if you are looking to increase your daily protein intake, which you should be. My wife and I have tried almost everything on the menu. They use good quality ingredients that are seasoned well and cooked to order. A must try food when you are in San Luis Obispo!

Jesus Moreno Went for our anniversary dinner on a Thursday to try out there date night special. Honestly from looking at just the outside of the building I was expecting a decent meal and good atmosphere but as soon as I walked in I was totally blown away with everything. It’s a hidden gem in that shopping center! From the romantic and modern atmosphere and hip lighting to the amazing service as soon as you walk in, to the amazing smells that come out of the kitchen every time the door opens to the main course, an exquisite Tomahawk steak with mash potatoes, rosemary and garlic, we were in total bliss! It really was one of the best meals I’ve ever enjoyed, especially because the ingredients seemed simple enough, but there was so much flavor packed into every bite, they just know how to cook an amazing steak and prepare simple but flavorful sides. Their execution in all aspects for a restaurant as far as I’m concerned is flawless. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed, my wife and I definitely weren’t.

Autumn Williams I love the spacious outdoor area, with stringed lights and covered outdoor seating. They have a large screen displaying their menu inside the restaurant and have kind, friendly staff. The tacos durados are a hit, in fact my favorite item on the menu. They pair it with a great medium salsa that doesnt over power them. No matter the meat chosen Ive liked crunchy tacos the best! They have at least 3 salsas as options at a bar with other fresh condiments. They have Great Chile rellenos, fresh Mexican rice and their soup is shrimp soup is awesome. It has a spicy kick and the perfect amount of prawns to veggies ratio. No skimping. They make the food fresh right then when ordered so its always fresh, hot and made to order. We have even took friends from out of town who know how to make this food and they thought it was awesome. Case closed this place will be on my list of favs!

kiara walker Okayama is a wonderful family-owned restraunt with great staff and amazing food. Even on opening night when they were very busy and had many customers lining up to be served on their first day open, staff stayed on top of parties and tables and checked on customers regularly. There was a but of a wait for the chef (about an hour) but they served drinks and appetizers within 5 or 10 minutes after being seated, so the time went by fast. The food was phenomenal and rivaled Benihanas, in my opinion the steak and other menu items were much better even! Plus Id rather give money to a small business with local ownership than a chain any day. Even on opening day when most restraunts are a mess, dinner was great and they were definitely ready to open!
