Soriano Pablo (Pabs) If you come to Prescott Market in West Oakland, there’s one spot that beats the rest in both quality and variety. Cafe Noir is such a terrific little bistro if you want a delicious and decadent breakfast/brunch. I’m a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich, and I’m convinced theirs is the best in town.

Jason Hoffer Really good experience, cool vibe and excellent service. Had the Cesar salad, duck fat fries and brussel sprouts to start. Had the snapper and the duck for the mains which were both delicious. And ended with the bread pudding which was outstanding. Its a pricey dinner but worth it for a special occasion.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed them sooner (perhaps subconsciously I was trying to ensure they weren’t sold out of all of their food by the time I get there!?) but they deserve all of the praise they get for their food and service. Their kimbap is the closest I have had to my mom’s homemade, and their tuna mayo kimbap made me tear up recently because that was a special one my mom used to make for my dad before she passed away last year. It’s clear the food is made with care and the intention is to create authentic and at home flavors. Which they nail-at least from my 45+ years on this planet eating Korean food. I also appreciate some of the fusion dishes and soups, as they also ring true to the food from my travels in Asia. Everything is quality, packaged well and served with friendliness. They do have very limited seating so that’s the only downside; plan accordingly! But I personally like to take my food to go and curl up on the couch with my eyes closed savoring every bite. Reminds me of home!

John Monaco This is the best pizza I’ve had in California. As an Italian and CT native (where they have the best pizza in the country), this was absolutely delicious and authentic to the core. I hope this business does very well.

Christos Kapetanios We were looking for a new place to celebrate my sisters birthday so we looked at yelp and found Acqua E Farina. The restaurant looked well decorated and the food reviews were great. It was Black Friday and a little after 8pm and it looked like they were getting ready to close early. Guillermo our server made as feel comfortable and not rushed. He did a great job explaining the menu to us. The food was great but made it best was Guillermos service. Definitely recommend it and will be back.
