Alireza Tavassoli We dined at Pomet for my wifes birthday and we were thoroughly pleased with the service and the food. This was the first time that we went to a $$$-$$$$ restaurant in the Bay Area and left fully happy.
We ordered the butter lettuce salad, egg pudding and Korean quail for starters. The salad was delicious, pudding really good but the quail was the winner of the 3, smoky, tender and cooked to perfection.
For mains we started with the duck which was super tasty. We finished with the steak and it was incredible. Really good, the winner of the night.
We paired everything with a bottle of Zinfandel from their wine menu. It was probably the best Zinfandel that weve had for a while.
For desert, we order the chiffon and we enjoyed every bite of it. Not overly sweet and creamy, just the right amount!
